Just type "Arma 2 Free" into Steamshop,the right one will appear (for some reason it is called DEMO).You could google the same words and get the nosteam version

Playing with my Lady on the same external IP,too. All we did was change the port via Steam on my Machine and it works flawless

Afaik Reinforcements does not include Arma 2,so get either Arma 2 free or a full version of the game

i heard you need to apply the 1.60 patch again if you install PMC or BAF on a working version of Arma2/Arma2OA

Copy the Beta patch exe from Expansions/Beta to your regular Arma2OA directory,overwriting the old one (please,backup the EXE before doing that) and add this line to your startup parameters -beta=Expansion\beta;Expansion\beta\Expansion that way you can start OA via Steam with the beta patch + steam overlay (note: you need to copy over the beta exe each time a new beta patch gets released)
