yap its the curse of this forum , same posts over and over , im probs to blame for some of them so :P if u installed six launcher u use that if u want to use steam then u need to read the tutorial on installing dayz with steam or manual install.update of dayz through steam its easy with all the help from people on the correct threads :) -

maybe the server try a diff one make sure you are going on an uptodate server with your client . so make sure your latest patch is the same as the server your connecting too

this happened to me you must wait it out in cppl hours u will die of starvation and it allows you to respawn , your player id will be linked to your game and therefore changing profile wont work -

Going Unconscious upon entering a server (not in shock)

This happened to me and the only way i got round it was to stay in the unconscious mode until you starve to death then you can re spawn , this took me hours , but worked :D -
add me team and TS tinit

3rd person is dependent on the server allowing it , usually says on the server name . the button is enter on the numpad for equipping things to your hands im guessing you mean the axe , open back pack right click on it and select remove from toolbox this will place it into your hand

It tells you in the bottom right when you spawn but apart from taht you have to use sign posts in towns until u learn the map -

its been a week since this thread was started not good i just bought arma 2 and arma2 OA jsut to play this and have nothing but troubles :( i just wanna gameee away the hours lol edit - upon reading i see fatbear got his fix :) least theres gd news -
