Ugh the ping issue is just unbearable! I can't walk across town without getting kicked from having a ping of like 2000 at 4 seperate times! It's made helicopters useless because you just can't fly em for long before getting kicked (we have not been able to keep a helicopter for more than 2 days so far!), and when im driving cars i'll get kicked from the game, but the car will keep rolling and crash into the nearest barricade, breaking it's engine or tires. I've gone through 5 cars in the last 3 days, 5 CARS... If there is any way to fix this issue, PLEASE do it! I love this server and I would hate to see it be ruined by this issue. I hope others feel the same way as I do towards this

Are you running the DayZ through Arma 2? If you are, thats the problem. You need to install either SixLauncher or DayZCommander for the game to actually work well. These launchers auto-update the game for you so the endless versions and beta patches become WAY easier to handle. However if you are running it through a launcher and you are having problems then you need to check the DayZ version on the server tag (ex: 1.7.2.4 is an old version, whereas 1.7.2.6 is the one you want to look for IF you have the most recent version of DayZ) Reply if you need help still or if it worked!

APPARENTLY Im doing something wrong. A couple days ago I had some problems with dayz erupt. I was stuck at the loading screen of every server I tried to join, and I just couldnt play dayz. NOW the 1.7.2.5 update came out and Im still stuck at the loading screen, and Six Launcher obviously can't fix the problem. So I deleted the @dayz folder and downloaded the whole damn thing again (the frikin mirror took almost an hour to download for some reason). As I entered Six Launcher it still said that I was at the 1.7.2.4 version of Dayz and I STILL get stuck at the loading screen! How do I fix this so I can play Dayz?

Yeah dayz is pretty screwed up in terms of the updates not being compatible and stuff. This mod is sadly a mess to put it frankly.

Yeah looks like its out of our hands. The developers need to test these updates a little more than they do right now.

Did update the beta, and my suspicion is that the beta patch is actually causing the problem. Ive noticed now that ever since I updated my beta patch I havent been able to go on servers.

Ok so I was walking around with my longest surviving character who has some pretty decent stuff on him. I disconnected after trying to find a friend for about 4 hours and when I log back in on the server I spawned in Kamenka with all my gear still with me. I was pretty weirded out that I had just teleport-spawned across the damn map, but I just dismissed it as a small glitch and moved on towards Stary (where my friend was). The next day I finally found my friend and we ran around a bit and logged off in a building in Novy Sober. I log on today to find that I spawn in the EXACT same place in Kamenka with all my gear again and across the map AGAIN. What the hell is going on with my game?

So after a long battle with my computer to get DayZ to work, I have encountered what you might call a "problem" in DayZ. Whenever I try to talk to other players it seems that no one is there, even when im in a 64 player lobby. This is paralyzing my ability to communicate with other players, and I would appriciate if I could find a working solution to the problem. Ive tried using all channels, but no response. Help? Oh and how do you use a flashlight? I cant figure that one out...

Well that sucks, my guy just decided to take a plunge off of a hospital roof because I was trying to contact a player on the ground below. I tried throwing a road flare and ended up diving off of a roof. Thanks to the recent update, it's done us so much good! -_-

Does your screen freeze like every 5 seconds or so for just a moment? Thats happening to me and I also have a Radeon graphics card I really hope its fixable....

Ok, so I just got Arma 2 combined operations from the steam store yesterday. I downloaded it, verified game cache, and all that stuff. I downloaded DayZ and entered the game to find that every server that ran DayZ had a big red X on the far left of the list. When I tried to join these servers, nothing happened. There where other servers with a yellow question mark on the far left and I gave those a try, but to no avail. When I tried to join those servers it said I had a "bad version" even though I have the latest version, 1.6.1. I realize that I am in the same boat as a LOT of people out there, but is there any way to fix this without waiting for a solution from the developers? Please do help!

Well I was finally able to join a server and play in it, but then my computer started acting weird. Its really annoying because every 4-5 seconds the screen will freeze for like 4 seconds and then it will go back to running smooth, only to have this repeat over and over again. This makes gameplay REALLY ANNOYING. Yet another problem, great

What File do i put the downgraded beta patch in?

Well, I got the Six Installer and now I can go on servers, but when I actually try to join the game I get stuck in a loading screen of death. I honestly have gone to every thread trying everything they say to do and it just isnt working....
