    DE 22 firefight

So i just decided to boot up day z a bit ago. Just nip into Cherno and grab some med supplies before my friends come back from work and we go on a trek north. I'm pretty lightly loaded, having a Lee Enfield and not much else. Approaching from the east I go up and over the hill by the lake and start making my way down the hill and across the field, very cautiously. I'm not a massive player killer, infact I'll avoid it if I can. There are a fair amount of people who have wandered through my crosshairs and I've just let go because they didnt see me or probably could hurt me. Today was different. So, as I was making my way across this field I notice a survivor bombing it hell for leather from my right and running right infront of me. He has no equipment but three zombies in tow. After debating wether or not to shoot the zombies or remain prone (I only had about 3 clips) I stood up, took aim and systematically lobotomized each of the infected meat sacks. The player, obviously now realises there is someone with a gun out there and hits the deck. I call to him over mike and tell him not to worry. I just killed the z's and that he should probably head out of town. I hear nothing back... I repeated my advice, nothing... Thinking he may be unconcious I move over to him to see if I can get him up. As I approach he jumps up and starts sprinting away. I figure he probably thinks I'm just gonna back stab him and nick his bandage and pain killers. Fine, run off I dont care. I turn to head back towards me goal of the hospital and I havent gone five steps before I hear a might crack tear through the silence. Hit the floor, scan thearea, where did it come from?!!?! Just on the road I see the guy who was running from me. He is face down and bleeding everywhere. Should I help him again? I decided it may be a bit dicey, out in the open andI know someone is watching that road. Maybe coming here alone was a bad idea. I start edging back toward the tree line. Three shots ring out followed by a fourth much louder. Sounds like the poor guy was caught in a bit of a standoff which is now kicking off. All of a sudden all hell breaks loose and people are unloading bullets like they are going out of style. Screw stealth, I need to get gone and now. I don't know where the shots are coming from. Cracks and whistles as the slugs fly and hit brickwork, roads, metal. I'm full bore sprinting for cover, and zig zags left and right as both sides seems to of decided I'm not with them so I must be against. I some how end up next to the hospital breathing heavily and in one piece. The shooting is still going on so I decide to take stock of my gear and get moving; 22 rounds for the Lee, a morphine, some meat and a couple of cans. Waiting for a lull in the shooting a crouch and shuffle round to the ladder on the far side and figure I should probably get an idea of the lay of the land, where are the combatants and how can I get out of town without being shot. By the time I've reached the roof and I'm in position the shooting has stopped. The three men left standing from one side are picking through the remains of the losers and switching out their old weapons for their new prizes. Probably having a joke with one another and congratulating themselves for a job well done. I decide to wait it out, they will move on shortly and I can nip down and scavange the left overs before retreating to the woods. I sit back and have a quick drink of coke, the can hisses as I open it, it hisses loudly. VERY LOUDLY. The three guys down on the road stop what they are doing and start spinning their heads round looking for me. Dam dam dam. One moves out of my vision and i risk standing to see where he is. As i raise my sight over the edge I see him aiming at the roof I'm on. I smash my finger on the trigger and managed to knock him down before the others see me. Adrenaline is pumping and I dont even realise the gravity of what Ive done, I've killed another player. Bullets start to crash into the concrete as I switch into survival mode again and start making for the ladder. I jump off the last five rungs and break into another sprint deeper into down but away from the shooting which is still going on. I can only imagine that they have run into a few infected who have been drawn by the noise. I hit the main road and start running west. Zombies are picking me up and running after me left right and center, I'm breathing out of my arse and my heart is thumping against my rib cage. I leave the town and eventually make it to a nice secluded spot in the hills. Nice and quiet, no zombies, no players, no problems. Bang. The tree next to me puffs out the smokey tell tale sign of a bullet richocet. I wheel round in time to see the two players have followed me!They start unloading in my direction. I hit the ground, but not fast enough. The last thing i see is a fountain of blood pouring from my skull before the world fades to grey.

Dragging/Carrying of a player who has broken bones.

Wouldn't it be more sensible if your partner could lean walk on you. I mean the whole point of that move is to speed up movement so if they could lean on you and you support them, you could walk faster but at the cost of not being able to use weapons
