"fixed ammo glitch" There's too many zombies to kill as there is, so you're removing one of our main sources of survival? There's not enough ammo spawns currently, and there's TOO many zombies in SMALL TOWNS, big cities are fine because they're spread out and they have so much loot. But for one small low value residential you'll find at least 100 zombies in one small house which makes looting small townships pointless because of a certain death that will follow when going in. Most of us who knew about the glitch didn't exactly "abuse" it because it was required to kill zombies, now there's no point killing zombies or even other players because of the limited supplies of ammo. inb4 "this is a zombie apocalypse you don't get heaps of anything" And there's SO many people in ONE house (zombies) This game started off so well, and now look at it.

Alright so, I've got two tents set up and I want to save items in them both. There's already one tent up and I've saved that (I've had it for the past week), now if I set up another tent, do I have to save the other tent too, or can I just put items into it and not save it? I'm confused how having multiple tents work.

Yeah, I've realize this and 1.7.2.5 only makes the game worse, so I've just downgraded my server. Works fine now. :)

Well, I was having that problem and with my car too. So I just downgraded my server to 1.7.2.4 and it's all working now. (I didn't lose anything in the downgrade either) And thanks; >set up tent >save multiple tents

Okay, so I was just having a problem on a server, so I tried to join another server. The problem then went away about an hour later, it's fixed now. But the a new problem arised. I've been teleported to a spawn location because I joined another server. What's the deal with this?

So is there anything I can do? Or shall I just have to make my way back to the place where I was? Btw, thanks for the detailed reply.

Well, I may as well bump this thread because I'm currently having the same problem. I've actually had it up to my fucking neck in this shit that this game is producing. Rocket, as a fellow New Zealander, all I have to say is that you're a fucking asshole that should actually be working for EA. Why? You're just as ignorant and non-helpful as they are. There's so many fucked up this wrong with this game that have simple solutions to fix them. ie: artifacting: what's causing this problem? Dead zombies that can't be hidden. Solution: remove them from the fucking game. They don't have ANY effect on the world, or the players around them AT ALL. It's only causing players to not be able to play this piece of shit mod. I swear to God that this game has never made me, or possibly any one rage so fucking hard with its constant bugged up shit. If you really think people are going to buy Day Z when it comes out as a stand alone game, you're fucking kidding yourself.

Alright, I've found a van--the engine is orange. Am I able to drive it without it exploding? Because, I'm assuming when the cars only explode when the engine is red. But this is orange.

Okay thanks guys. One other question: If I have one car that's saved, then drive a bike and then the server restarts, what will I lose? (I haven't saved the bike)

Just get a managed server. They do it all for you. But even then, it's not worth it. Just bought a new server, no vehicles. Day 1. I thought it was just more, or I was just looking in the wrong places but nope, I checked heaps of places and there's no vehicles there. So add me to the list, too please. BTW: I have a managed server hosted by HFBServers. Could I get some hints/tips on how to run the server I'm renting? I don't really know what I'm doing, some help would be good, thanks.

Maybe for you, that's the case. But no, don't use the Arma launcher. Use a program called Day Z Commander. It's easier and faster. And tells stats of all the servers, so you know if you want to join it or not.

Honestly Mozzy, I do believe you because it done it for me last time but this time, Day Z just lingers at 13%. So I'm just going to manually update it.

This game is just a piece of shit. Battleye fucking sucks anyway, it doesn't detect hackers.

This kind of removes the realism to it. If they're on the other side of the map to you when you spawn and you just "magically" spawn next to them, that's not exactly realistic. Is it? So no to this idea, in my opinion.

I don't think it's a game-related problem. It could be either: 1. Server can't handle the bandwidth, therefore kicking you 2. Day Z uses a lot of bandwidth, so your internet might think you're doing something fishy or just can't handle it, therefore kicking you.

This is already realistic compared to other games: CoD, Battlefield, etc But I agree with the temperature one 100%.

No - there's already too many people putting up barbed wire fences all over the towns at the start. Adding locks would only further enlarge this.

There's a perfect set amount. And since the average life is ~49 minutes you're either going to find a gun, or you're going to die. Secondly, don't hang around towns if you're sick of dying. Find: a knife, a hatchet and matches and then STAY in the wilderness instead of staying in towns. I'm sick of people saying pointless shit like this or just complaining that the game is unbalanced. You do realize that there's about 225km squared, right? You don't have to hang around 1/20th of that area all the time.

And make the females more sexier. Or just bigger tits. I would like to turn the view and see tits, but alas I see a flat chested girl. I can't fap to this.
