I have no idea why the mission won't start. The server just keeps spitting out: 12:45:40 Mission DayZ read from bank. Any help would be great. Fixed it, please delete.

I am no longer playing/hosting dayz.. I have moved on to other games..

Gonna shut the server down, as I have lost all desire to play DayZ :/ It's been good while it lasted.

Shami was on our server today, he was invisible and we only spotted him because of muzzle flash, a guy was able to hit him with a stray bullet and get him bleeding. We were able to kill him. Can you take a screenshot of the first error you got? It's probably because you aren't launching Combined Ops correctly, but I'd like a ss to make sure first.

No, no difference. The server browser in game has exactly the same list.

Rolled back to 93701 to fix the script errors that are occurring. Just run the installer for 93701 again to roll back.

Sounds like some network issues man, on your end. Talk to your isp, and make sure that you are allowing the beta executable through your firewall.

No such thing as daytime only servers, but there are plenty with offset timezones. Mine is set to GMT -11 so it's generally daylight for a lot of the US nighttime hours. It's located in Texas too :)

BattlEye(I'm guessing rocket had a big part) basically just marched an army of banhammer wielding dwarven warriors through the servers. Tons of people have been banned globally via battleye for hacking, they've been compiling dataz. Read the announcements forum dude.

Thanks for the response rocket, I won't pretend to understand exactly how the servers work as I don't run one right now (though I am looking into trying to set one up), however your answer does lead me to another question. Why do the vehicles and tents not spawn sometimes if the problem with the server / hive restart is fixed? Also, just a suggestion, but some form of OOC chat for reporting server problems that is policed by the admins, or through some other method to prevent its exploitation, would be very useful while the mod is still in alpha. If you talk in group chat while in the lobby, the admin can see that in the admin console. If they aren't in the console, odds are they wouldn't be able to restart it at that moment anyway.

You can't change those. The only settings you can control are server name, and difficulty settings, as in, 3rd person, nameplates, crosshairs, etc.

Press tab once. If you Shift + tab into the steam overlay, it thinks you are holding down tab, pressing tab again will fix this.

Server resets consist of typing #shutdown into the BErcon' date=' or just closing the server program. And then starting it back up. There really isn't much to do "incorrectly", issues that you have with this are caused by desync with the central DB. Find out their name on here, pm them here.
