What you probably should learn is that is takes a matter of time to correct bugs and issues in the code so that whiners like you can enjoy playing the mod. I dont think that the team have the time to spend on holding your hand every day. I dont get it some people whine because patches and fixes are released to often and this guy says not frequently enough. Like come on either play the damn thing or dont........beans to everyone.

Use http://dayzdb.com/map and try to located where you are. Then the best way is to head from one building, mark or road to another. In worst case scenario find a road which will eventually lead you to a town and sign, but i would not recommend it.

It is potinless to argue about if it is realistic or not to shoot a human on point blank in a post apocalyptic environment since it has not ever occured. What we do know for a fact that some individuals takes advantage of other humans may that be murdering, rob, assault or any other abuse in times of crysis like nature catastrophes, wars, riots etc. Yes that is a small group of the big mass but still it exist and it probably would in an environment as in DayZ. It doesnt matter how many threads are created about this topic. The options are that some people come together and host their own password protected server with ban on players killing other players. The other option is if a game update will be released so that one that host a server can enable pvp areas and the rest is pve zones (not likely to happen). Trying to reach out to people that likes to snipe, shoot and put an axe in someones face is like telling MS to convert to open source.

How would you rather pay for it? - Game purchase with Monthly fee? (WoW stylez) If so the way to go is with studio hosted servers and pre, mid and end game expections. Content needs to be updated, alot of patching updating etc etc. - Game purchase only? (Guild Wars stylez) Most likely to be the case here as an expansion or DLC for Arma II with community based servers. If game is stable it wont be necessary to apply with new content to the game except for fixing minor bugs if even that which means less cost. - Free to play, buy your shit? A stable game, mod, dlc ofc buy it. - Something else? Slow zombies down but make them hording the map and players need to rest (one cant run on beans forever). Also: - Community developed or studio developed? Studio developed and asking community for opinions as in this case. - Community or studio servers? or both? As stated above is likely what to be expected. I would say both since alot of players are probably looking for a pve server with pvp areas and would perhaps pay sub fee for it. - Kickstarter? or not? Go for it.

I agree with this post military loot is way to easy to get your hands on. There should be possible to gain limited weaponry from police stations and perhaps a prison, hunter lodge etc. Sure the military has been in the cities to help but still finding an ak-47 in a dear stand? ( i dont know perhaps they hunt with those in russia?)

Its wrong to call these guys hackers, they are cheaters as anyone can cheat in any game. The cant play it without cheating and they are probably cheating in other games aswell as they cant manage it without it. When cheating one is destroying for themselfs since you dont get the feeling of the reward then you manage to get the sniper rifle or survived for 50 days without dying. You eventually get tired of being in god mode since you no longer get that feeling. People that cheat also often has it hard in real life to achieve certain goals. I feel sorry for those guys and hope they one day stop cheating it wont bring you any good out of it.

Before one uninstall anything sort the field "version" in the six launcher and try the latest update showing. The updates are released frequently and the server admins will updated their servers when able. 9 out of 10 the server is outdated but you are not............
