That is why zombies should be hording the map in larger numbers to look for "food" also slow them down and add a stamina bar so a player needs to rest or walk, not ultimate running man. So you are not safe where ever you go as zombies can be anywhere and looking for you. As this is a zombie mod ones concerns should be about the zombies first then the players not the other way around otherwhise just remove the walking meat bags and let it be a mirror of "The Road". I dont suggest bandits should be removed i suggest that zombies need to be improved. There are way better FPS games than this one and right now it feels more like a FPS then a survival mod. Side note for all dickheads and not the person im quoting - No im not gonna go back to CoD it sucks BF3 is much better.

The feeling of surviving a zombie apocalypse is long gone. This game is more close to the movie "The Road" were cannibals ( i know you cant eat other humans in DayZ cannibals = bandits) hunt survivors and survivors avoid contact with other humans. If you have not seen it do so and pretend that there are no zombies in DayZ mod and you know what im talking about. Besides that the OP got a point. I dont give a shit about zombies hopin och walking across the field or town. I just think now there a sniper could be hiding and poff the mod lost its purpose.

When the group is failing the strongest individual survive. You can keep your group for yourself...

I think starting kit is just fine as it is. One just need to put in a little effort into the game and you soon have supplies to make it. Everyone just want to skip the tutorial and start playing, sorry it doenst work like that.

The only way to get around the issue OP posted is. Changing people is often a difficult process and is in this cause....hopeless. 1. Survivors setup their own server were KOS leads to ban. 2. Mod is updated so it is possible to enable so called pvp areas on the map where rest is pve.

There are to many weapons around, and it is to much military loot to gain. Reduce rate of weapons spawning and even more on military weapons. If one wants a M16 go play BF3 or CoD....or btw not CoD it sucks.

Tents should not be removed. But in some way i can agree that this game is way to easy. just raid and stash it die and regear in a min as Rambo. Military loot is way to easy to get your hands on, its should be very rare. I mean how often do you find a shootgun in the supermarket or an ak-47 in a deerstand. More realism is needed like a police station is were one could find weapons used by the police, hunters lodge, prisons etc. This game is easy to take focus away from survival to plain BF3 action.

Leaderboars doenst work because players are using exploits and cheating.

There are no hacking, but you have loads of people that are cheaters using exploits and random asshats etc. In first place contact server admin.

Respawn is just an easy way out, man up and get your shit together.

Check the thread "Index of Helpful Threads" you can find about any information you need about DayZ. Good luck out there. The time it takes to enter a server depends on server load and location of it. Try finding one close very you live.

So to conclude this thread in a very mature way that noone maybe offended and such.....go back to CoD.
