I haven't had a great time playing DayZ in like 2 months. And I won't be having anymore great times if they don't fix all the shitty problems this mod has. I know it's in development but for us to play and test, we need a working game, which this is not.

Please, quote me where I say "OMGZ UNPLAYABLE SHIT". I would love to see that because I don't recall writing anything like that. If you can't discuss a problem within the game on the forums, then why the hell are you here? What do you think forums are for? I've never "bashed" DayZ. But in order for us to test this game so the developers can progress, we need a game where we can play without getting killed 24/7 by cheaters.

I'm just going to reply like I always do to posts like these. And please, get this into your little head... Just because you played 600 hours without getting killed or seen anyone cheat, doesn't mean they don't exist. Maybe it's very playable for you, well then good for you! Congratulations! But this was not a post about lucky players like yourself, I was making a post about my experience with hackers. I have just as much right to post something like you do. And if this post angers you, then I suggest you leave and let the players who actually want to debate and comment about this situation. And tbh, no one ever posted this before me. I wrote my experience which no one else have experienced. So why don't you just leave me the hell alone and annoy someone else. Thanks!

Well we knew dogs would come, not something new. But if you had some info on when they would patch in dogs, that would be a lot more interesting :)

Haha what a fail post. Rocket posted a while ago that Dc/Alt+F4 is easily fixed and will be in a future patch. And thanks for letting us know who ruins all the fun of this game... You... "i hate dc'ers but then i realize its just part of the game now at this point" Part of the game? It's an exploit, learn the difference.

At the moment there are no explosive charges in the game, still buildings blow up, seems legit? Invisible players talking on the intercom and shooting you in the face from point-blank range, seems legit? Helicopters flying around even though they removed helicopters a while ago, seems legit? Just because you're lucky enough to avoid hackers, doesn't mean they don't exist. How can you be so naive?

Only solution I can think of is to die, respawn, find your body and hide it.

Yeah I partly agree. It's kinda logical to find better weapons in Military locations. But I agree that, atm it's too easy to acquire these items. Though I did see an interview with Rocket, he stated that there are plans for bigger maps. So if this is true, I'm positive they will make weapons and items like NVG and Thermal much more rare. But a player who's been playing for days on the same character will/should be far more dangerous than a new player who just ran through Electro and found a Makarov.

By reading your reply, I assume that you've never played a game in Alpha nor Beta stage. When people develop new games, and release the Alpha or Beta version to the public, they do it because they need and want feedback. This might be hard for you to understand since you're probably one of those who just post garbage for the sake of it. But without posts on the forums and without testers like us, they wouldn't know what to change and what people want. I guess you're just that small minded so you can't understand that by posting this thread, I'm helping to make this a better game. Unlike you who just posts immature posts for no reason. Grow up and try not to be so useless.

Love these kind of posts. It's in Alpha, which means they need players to test the game. And when it's not playable because all the hackers just kill everything, you can't test it. Your logic fails you...

Yeah I kinda posted the exact same post haha. It's horrible atm and I'm sick of it. I'm not even playing until they fix this. No way I'm playing hours to find gear only to die by hackers...

Not just tonight, there's been hackers on all servers for a week now. They need to fix this because no one can play...

I've been playing Dayz for about a month now. There's some bugs with dropping stuff, looting, zombie aggro and a lot of other stuff. Don't get me wrong, I totally understand that it's Alpha and these buggs are not a problem for me. BUT! All of the sudden, cheaters increased with HUGE numbers. I mean my regular server was on fire, corpses everywhere and invisible players talking on the intercom. I changed server and took about 15 minutes before I saw 2 buildings explode and kill about 2-3 players. I've posted 3 posts on the "Cheat reporting" section, all different servers. What I'm trying to say is, the game is unplayable because of all the cheaters. It's not even fun anymore... I create a new character and find some nice weapons, only to die from cheaters/hackers and lose everything. Priority number one for the dev team is to get a working anti-cheat system. Because right now, cheaters own this mod...

I was sniping on the hill in Electro. Saw about 3-4 corpses and 1 guy looting them all and then ran away. I followed him with my scope shot him in the head and he died instantly. About 30-60 seconds later, I just drop dead with broken bones and everything... I didn't even move... Time of event: 06:45 Server: FR 19
