Hell. It would nice if there could be servers with no military weapons at all. I think it would make things more interesting.

They need to implement more to do outside of hunting other players.

Did you install the beta? If not use this guide to setup your beta version http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29401-guide-steam-to-those-spawning-invisible-no-debug-errors-beta-update/ And don't skip a step. I heard the 94945 version was bugged and a lot of servers were using the 94876. There's new patch out. But I haven't tried it yet. I would get whatever version the servers are using though. It worked for me. Hope that helps.

This worked for me too. Though ocassionally it has other issues too. It's possible this is an issue where the servers have to use the same versions. ;o

I didn't have the exact same problem. But I spawned on the coast. I decided to head over the hills to see what was there. Eventually I passed this line on the ground and it was nothing but endless grassy terrain after that. With the odd cow walking through. Thought maybe that was by design and I wasn't supposed to be there. But now i'm thinking it was some kind of glitch. : /

Same here on some of the servers I've tried. Seems kinda rampent. Perhaps it's a bug we can't fix on our end >.>;

Well I only got it to work today. But I found that using the 94876 beta patch to fix my problems. I followed this guide http://dayzmod.com/forum/index.php?/topic/29401-guide-steam-to-those-spawning-invisible-no-debug-errors-beta-update/ Particularily the part about making the backup and then copying the .exe from the beta folder is important. But I would also note that some servers simply won't work for me. I always try the ones that state they use the 94876 beta. And even then I have to try more then one to find one that works. Sometimes I get no textures. >.> Anyways. That's all I can do to help. Since it worked for me and I'm a complete newbie to this game. ;3
