    It's down to circumstance. The guy you just shot at could become your best mate, while the guy who you just rescued from being eaten by a horde of zombies, brought back from unconciousness, whos blood meter you refilled and whos broken leg you just fixed can decide he wants your shiny pistol, and then proceed to take some cheap swings with an axe. The only exception to the rule are the snipers in buildings/on top of hills outside of towns. They are never your friends. Period. Grenade them/shoot them as you please. Just for the love of all that is holy, don't trust them.
