I assume you're clearly playing the wrong game if you think it is PvP-only. And in case of DayZ PvP doesn't mean you have to kill everybody on sight. This is the easy way. I don't like easy. There are PvE Servers in DayZ? You sure? Allright' date=' now you're getting ridiculous. Just in case you've forgotton what PvE means: Player vs. Environment. Zombies, Temperature, Nighttime, Hunger, Thirst... Don't they all fit in the idea of "Environment"? [hr'] Right. But he also implemented the bandit skins in the first place because PvP got out of control. -

Why are you directly handicapped? If you choose to kill as many players as possible: Fine' date=' do it. But this mechanic will encourage you to stay alive even longer, so be smart. But, most important, it will eventually embank the coastal-beanwars. Don't join a mature discussion if you're not able to bring any solid arguments. This is a PvP game. It's more of a PvE/PvP mixture. -

It's not about punishing bandits. It's just indirectly punishing mass murderes. If you're going to hunt down players it will eventually not affect you at all. Be smart, stay alive. -

You want a mechanic? Here is the mechanic: Mass murderers have to heavily suffer when being killed. The more people you kill, the longer you have to wait for a respawn. Maybe like: Kills * 0,5 * hours. And this value will reset only if you get eventually killed. The idea is that people tend to behave like dicks because they're lacking the fear of having just ONE single life like IRL. This mechanic will make you think twice before pulling the trigger. -
Also got a 560ti and the GPU Usage is almost everytime up to 100% (Even in the serverbrowser).

Not really. I don't have to deal with coastal-beanwar-elitists like you. I just feel sorry for this mod, that some douchebags decide to spoil this game for others with no good reason in mind. Take Acebane as an example. He is someone i consider as a true and very skillful bandit. You on the other hand aren't even worth a single makarov bullet.

Let me get this straight: Basically, the whole title is misleading. You didn't "shoot down" a helicopter, you just killed the entire crew. And you did that for.... what purpose exactly? For the lulz? You weren't even able to recover the most rare vehicle on Chernarus and make it flyable again? Idiots. -

Oh wow. I know exactly how you feel buddy. After playing for two weeks I got my first murder yesterday. Me and a mate were sitting in the huge building next to the Stary Sobor military camp. It was pitchblack and we had trouble to identify ourselves when suddenly someone attempted to go inside. He was weilding a flashlight and came closer very fast. We both made the decision to shoot this guy on sight, once he enters the building. My friggin heart was pumping. Unluckily, he finally entered the building. I immediatly opened fire und pumped a whole clip, full auto into that poor guy. After dealing with the Zeds, that have noticed our shots, we finally examined the body. Turned out it was a survivor. It felt bad. It was a bad decision to open fire. His death was totally avoidable. He couldn't even shoot back because he was carrying his flashlight. I should have thought of it in the first place. His name was 'Luis' and he was asking for his murderer. I was too ashamed to answer. Too ashamed of killing an unarmed survivor, without thinking of any better alternatives. No hard feelings when killing a bandit. But this was something different. -
