I actually just got the game running, and the first time I got into a game, I saw boxy grass, rectangular trees/bushes, and clipping buildings. I fiddled a bit, and this worked: 1. Verified the integrity of game cache for ARMA II and ARMA II OA. 2. Ran A2, got into a "normal" server, quit out. 3. Same as above, but for OA. 4. Ran DayZ, turned off Anti-Aliasing. Everything looks as it should.

Still crashing after going step by step from that thread. Here's the error information. It looks like it's BattlEye, but I've updated that both on ARMA II and ARMA II OE. A bit out of ideas at the moment. Thanks, I'll take a look at that installation guide, and failing that, try reverting to earlier versions. -

Just a bump. I'm pretty much willing to try anything to get it working at this point. As it is, it's unplayable... which isn't fun. -
I've been wrestling with the mod/OA for two hours just to get to this point. I've looked all over the place and not seen this, so I figured it'd be okay to post. I launch the game/beta, find a server, click into the game. It gets me to the lobby, I enter. Tank/barracks load screen pops up, and the loading bar fills up, no problem. As soon as it loads me into the game (to the point where I can see the textures render in the background), an error message pops up: "No entry 'bin\config.bin/CfgMagazines.TrapBear" I click okay, and then the game immediately crashes me to desktop, where the Windows crash message comes up saying "Arma OA has stopped working." It's done this to me on 4 different servers I've tried, so I doubt it has anything to do with individual servers. Any help would be much appreciated. So far I've done the following trying to get it working: Repatched the DayZ files from this site's mirror. Uninstalled and reinstalled BattlEye. Manually updated the game version to 1.60. Running Steam as admin. Deleted the beta folder/ran uninstall, put in fresh 94876 beta version, as I couldn't even get past "Waiting for host" with the newest version. Have tried joining 1.60 games after running Combined Arms from Steam, still no dice. Steam version. Running A2OA beta patch 94876. Launching using DayZbeta.cmd (tried using 6launcher but ran into way too many issues there). PC specs: core i5 overclocked, Radeon 6970, SSD boot drive, 500gb games drive (e:), 8gb 1600 RAM.
