Anywho, back on topic...I had another fun admin experience tonight! My buddy and I meet up at the Cherno supermarket and begin following the coast line buildings towards elektro. Well, we made it as far as the Cherno church (the one across the street from the supermarket) before we were attacked. I was shot as I was exiting the church, went down, and got knocked out. The shooter probably thought I was dead until I rolled inside and shut the door. We could hear them talking "He wasn't dead", "There must be two of them", "Fuck you faggots", etc. I'm at like 2k blood and not expecting to live so I just start asking 'You mad?' over and over. Well, this guy must have been pretty mad because I suddenly just died (was not bleeding, no shots, door closed) and then was immediately kicked along with my friend. Yay admins! Maybe I will rethink my shoot on sight policy. I mean, shit, what if I shot an ADMIN!? *gasp* Edit: Upon further investigation it turns out that admins cannot remotely kill you. So I guess I was killed by a hacking admin or a hacking admin's friend. THEN kicked.

That was a very cool story! But yeah, that sucks. I remember once when I disconnected north of Solnichney. Next server I play on and poof, new character. So I spend a few days on that guy until he dies. On my next respawn I appear back where I logged out north of Solnichney with all my loot and full health. So maybe if you die again you'll have a chance to get your stuff back? I don't know. It was a weird bug. As far as that last part, you joined a server that had been hacked most likely. I joined a server this morning where all the loot was bags and I could hear flies EVERYWHERE. I didn't even make it outside the building I was in, though. Server restarted and all was normal. Very odd.

This thread has now degenerated into the admin in question posting spam and stupid pictures in response to anything said to him. The circle is complete.

There's nothing in my post saying that this happened on one server. It didn't. Why would I keep playing on the same server that an admin is abusing his power on? This has happened across at least 8 servers so far. I was trying to point out that admin abuse is becoming rampant and ruins the game just as much as (if not more than) hackers. Try thinking before you post.

Admins that abuse their powers ruin the game more than hackers do. I mean, seriously, is no server safe? If you're an admin and you get killed while playing Day Z on your server, do what anyone else would do. Run back and find your fucking corpse. That's the game. I've had admins pop up messages giving away my location, use commands to simply slay me with no warning, and kick me. It's getting ridiculous when I can't even play the game the way we're supposed to because of 12 year old butthurt admins. Inb4 "IM 12 AND SO MATURE FER MY AGE"

Exactly. I personally can't wait until there is something to purchase. Feeding money into this is what will keep it alive and moving quicker. Not to mention that fact that Rocket has already taken the time to "inform everyone about it many months before"

Dude, just don't even risk it. If it's a BattleEye ban you won't be able to play Day Z at all. Get rid of the infectious weapon! BURN IT! It's hacked anyway, so why would you want to use a hacked weapon? You'd have the same advantage that the hacker you just killed had. That makes for less fun for everyone.

Mine was probably today. I really try hard to not get attached to my gear but I failed earlier. So I start with a fresh spawn in Kamenka. Huzzah. I start running (the wrong way), curse the gods, turn around and make my way to Balota. It's empty of players, amazingly, so I decide to hit up the air control tower or whatever it is. I end up looting a GPS for the first time (finding or looting from a player) so I was already ecstatic. Having a minimap makes navigation unbelievably easier. I fucking fell in love with this thing in the first minute I had it. The tower was also kind enough to hook me up with an MP5SD and some mags so I was pretty happy at this point. The trek continues as I make my way to Cherno. I hit the supermarket and get an ALICE pack right off the bat. There's also a Lee Enfield with a ton of ammo so I toss it in my pack for later (I love the Lee and was planning on some short range sniping inside Elektro). I fill what remaining inventory slots I have with food/drink/med supplies and slowly make my way to Elektro. I run into some trouble as I'm getting close. Accidentally aggro'd a couple of zombies so I needed to take them out. Stupid me had my Lee Enfield out already in preparation for the sniping (I was actually quite close to where I wanted to be but yeah, really stupid mistake considering I had a silenced weapon). So I take care of the two I aggro'd and from those shots I get around 15 more. Great. Time to run. I'm getting pretty close to Elektro and taking some damage and start to bleed. I sprint to the supermarket, quickly change out my guns (really quickly) and take care of the billion zombies I had after me. Whew, close one. At this point I'm in one of the back rooms of the supermarket and start scrounging for food to regain some blood. I get a few cans, eat them, and make my way to the front of the store. BLAM! There was another survivor, the whole time, hiding right around the corner behind the display case. Easily could have taken me out the five minutes I was killing zombies or grabbing loot. So I take a double barrel shotgun blast point blank. Shock, leg(s) broken, bleeding out. I manage to get one shot off before he can shoot again. Doesn't matter. Dead. I was going to climb the hospital that was within my sight and log out. Not even two minutes away from my goal after having spent the last several hours getting this character exactly how I wanted him. I'm pretty pissed off because I had some decent gear and I was guessing that he did not since he was using a double barrel shotgun. So I was imagining an empty corpse or nothing if I made it back there. Also I just loved that GPS. I respawn right outside Elektro. REJOICE! I'm back to the supermarket within 10 minutes with a winchester I found primed and ready. He isn't there. I sigh and click my corpse to see what my losses were. He left every single item on my body. Except the GPS. :(

Yep, this. This has been the only sure working method for me, albeit a temporary one. If it crops up again just do it quick. Also really helps when fps issues start to crop up.

Yeah man you were probably sniped. A crashed heli would definitely be worth camping at for two hours. The smoke will be seen and people will come running for a heli/good loot. Then they get a sniper bullet as a reward for all that running..

You click respawn because it is not disabled when you have a broken bone.

I like this idea. Maybe even go a step further and boil it down to 'South Coast' and 'East Coast'. Or just larger spawn areas.

One of my favorite things to do with fresh spawns is to make sure it's on a night time server. I use my flashlight to find some flares and just light up a town like Cherno, Elektro or even Berezino. It screams to other players, "HERE I AM!" and adds another whole level of excitement and danger. I love it! Plus, you know, you can see.

Are you serious? I'll fucking dance and sing if I get a Solnichney spawn. That place is leagues better than Cherno or Elektro (to start in). Edit: I should add that I like this spawn because of its proximity to Berezino. Otherwise if you really need to respawn, can't you just walk up to some zombies and be like, "Sup?" ? If you have a fracture then the respawn button is enabled for you. It's only disabled if you have no broken bones.

I like this idea a lot. Maybe even a sort of 'trusted list' (friends list) could be added. Once added, only players that you are friends with will have their name show. Might be that this is a bit too unrealistic but I do like your idea quite a bit.
