Quadrophenik

Whenever I try to open dayz commander, a little pop-up comes up asking if this program can make changes to my computer. (like most programs) However, after clicking yes, the program just disappears and never actually opens. Any advice? I have also played dayz in the past on this computer. I just wanted to start playing again, and now it won't work. I've ran it both in and not in compatibility mode. I've ran as administrator Im on Windows 7 My firewall isn't blocking it.

I was playing about an hour ago, and I logged off. Now when I came back, the server list is 100% empty. (I'm not on LAN either.) I tried to see if 6 launcher had the server list, it was empty too. Im at a loss for what to do, I can't even FIND any servers...

I live in GMT -6, and im looking for some servers with good ping that are set for daytime while it's night for me. Any suggestions?

Guys I have no clue who any of you are, but here's my advice: If you use all caps/all red, you appear to be yelling and out of control. I'm far more inclined to read/believe the people using proper grammar and punctuation. You only should use bold/caps/red lettering for emphasis on certain points/words. Cheers.

I mean, at this point, thats not much of a suggestion... those are just gun names... also, there is really only so much variation in gun types, to the point where the main difference between two weapons will be the skin.

Today, I was completely betrayed by a bandit. So I was running through Elektro and I found a guy, He seemed nice enough, and after talking to him, and killing some zeds for him, I took a risk. I was bleeding pretty bad, and I decided to trust him with some blood packs to give me a blood donation. Afterwards, we went around Elektro together looking for guns, we only found a double barrel (I got it). He seemed nice enough, and when we went to the barn, we found an enfield. I asked if he wouldn't mind trading guns with me, he agreed, and then told me he was gonna leave and join his friends in cherno. So I shot him in the back as he left the barn. I lied about that first sentence.

To be fair, I play this game in two ways. For the most part, I play a cautious survivor, who doesn't shoot on sight, but doesn't overly trust either. However, when I ultimately die, I generally hop on a heavily populated server, with the sole purpose of over the top banditry. Once I've had my brief fill/I die again, then I go back to playing normally.

So I think my number one complaint: too many watches. Every time I go to a supermarket or something I find an object that looks like a map... NOPE it's a watch. Map? Nope. Pistol Ammo? Nope. A watch. I swear, there are more watches then there are people in Chernarus. It's almost as if, everyone, before succumbing to the zombie plague said "Let's buy a crapton of watches, at least 7 each, then let's drop them in the supermarket so we can let down any future survivors." I can be starving, thirsty, bleeding out, hunted by players, chased by zombies, completely lost, unable to see the ground, but thank god, I always know what time it is.

If I give my word, I follow it. That's where i stand.

I would accept empty whiskey bottles over watches. It's much more believable that people got drunk off their asses before the zombie apocalypse, over constantly looking to see if "It's half past noon, TEA TIME BITCHES!"

So what your saying is that all the zombies have a strict time schedule to stick to?

I personally LOVE nighttime in this game, even though I think it's safer, at the same time, I still always feel on edge. My biggest issue with the nighttime though, is the inability to see loot inside buildings. Sure, you can use a flashlight, but it often feels useless and possibly gives off your position to an extreme. So something I personally would love to see, would be nighttime interior lighting. This could include something as simple as a lamp in residential buildings to some basic overhead lighting in industrial buildings. Why this should be added: -Makes the game playable at night for noobs. I remember when I first started playing, I just quite when night came on most of my local servers. (I had NO clue what to do or where to go) -INCREASES DANGER: People and zombies will be able to see you inside buildings faaaaaar easier. -Allows for nighttime looting. Of course, this should 100% omitted from certain buildings, specifically pvp specific ones now. If you want to try and loot a supermarket and you decide you want to see, thats your risk. Same goes for Barracks, ATC towers, military tents, and maybe schoolhouses. If for some reason this idea enrages you, just post no. No reason to burn this to the ground...
