So my Day Z game has been having the same problem since I bought Arma II: CO from steam. I download the mod, and I've tried about 3 times using different methods, and I don't think it's how i'm installing it. Before a game when it says "Battleye initiated, up-to-date 1.6blahblahblah, it also says " Server Computed GUID 327bac02a9b4f14b28d67***a0c7b28" And thats when my game acts up. Basically it makes it so i'll freeze every second, but inbetween I can take ~2 steps before it freezes again. The first time I played Day Z it was fine for ~5 minutes, then that message showed up, and it's started. Hasn't gone away since. Not sure what it is, but it's screwing me up. I've tried updating battleye, and did a few recommended fixes, to no avail. If anyone has had this problem before, or if you have a solution, please post! I bought Arma II: CO for Day Z!

No, tried closing all six programs while playing, still the same problem.

Without protection? How do you join one without protection? At this point I don't care, I just wanna see if this thing works and play it.

So why does it basically make my game unplayable?

So, I downloaded the mod, following all instructions. For the first 2-3 minutes of gameplay, it ran perfectly. For one second, it runs fine. Then there's a huge lag spike. Then it runs fine for another second, etc. I set all my video options to the lowest they can go. Is there any way I can increase performance?

I don't think it's lag spikes. It'll work perfectly for ~1-2 minutes, then it will come up and say Server computed GUID: (bunch of numbers/letters), then it will start having the problem. Just opened up the ports, gonna try.

Still nothing, completely uninstalled six updater, reinstalled it, downloaded day z again completely, and I still get the same problem... ANYONE?!

Tried it, I don't think it's a problem with my computer, it's this: Server Computed GUID 327bac02a9b4f14b28d67***a0c7b28

I've narrowed it down to what seems to be the problem. When battleye client says "Up to date", it also says: Server Computed GUID 327bac02a9b4f14b28d67***a0c7b28 I'm not sure what it means, but as soon as that shows up I start getting the problem. Anyone help?

Well crap. I bought Arma II for the purpose of DayZ... :(

Idk, I've played games before that have much higher prerequisites than this game, and they run perfectly, which is why I'm really not sure what to do.
