Hackers hack because it's fun to make people like you rage. And you know what? Those some hackers are on this very forum, looking for people that rage and laughing every time they find a thread just like this one. Ignore them and wait for a fix, it's all you can do (aside from getting substantial evidence and reporting them). -MONSTER

Instead of saying that the respawn button needs to be re-implemented, maybe people should just stick with their spawn. Play as though your life were actually valuable. Really, people need such convenience that they'd rather continue to stress the servers than just swallow their false pride and simply run to their friends. It really isn't hard to find them unless you're both completely blind and have no sense of direction beyond following a coastline. But, this is the world we live in and the kind of people we play with. Nothing's going to change, so there's no point complaining (even though I just finished doing so). -MONSTER

People do it because it's fun to ruin other people's gaming experiences. -MONSTER

Drop it for the sake of being safe I'd say. You're not necessarily at fault, but not having anything to do with the item completely segregates you from any risks with confusion and whatnot. -MONSTER

The best way to avoid established players or become good enough to have a chance when contending with them is to play with one of said established players by organising it beforehand. Also, in regards to not aggroing the zombies; he may have been using SD rounds which are almost whispers to zombies, but fireworks to players. -MONSTER

The reason there was a sudden increase is probably due to the amount of coverage Day Z has been getting recently; in Australia alone, I know the knowledge of the mod has practically tripled. -MONSTER
