The real question is, why the fuck not do it? He may be a real person but, is shooting his character actually harming him? Not in the slightest. The worst that could happen to him is that he is put in a bad mood. To actually compare this to real life, is pathetic. I wouldn't dream of hurting a person in real life. But in a game? I would slowly torture you for shits and giggles. -

Most people think so, but I prefer the M107. They are both a 1 hit kill either way. AS50 has a bit more range, and is pretty silent to player ears.

Well, if you like being killed, more power to you. I personally prefer staying alive. Plus, I don't have a group of friends to play with, since the people I know have the attention span of a goldfish. And there's no way I'm going to trust random people in the game. That will get me killed quicker than throwing a grenade at my feet.

I think the map should be about 50 times smaller, we don't need food or water, and when we respawn we start out with whatever weapon we want. -
True, the game is about survival, but zombies aren't even a threat. The only threat is another player. Granted, I wouldn't go around sniping unarmed players. Which is why I hunt people up north. At least I have a chance of getting killed back.

I would love an AS50 with thermal. If I'm not mistaken Rocket said that as long as you didn't hack the items in yourself you were allowed to keep them. But, I'm not 100% positive on that. -

From my experience, if you just flat out drop your backpack on the ground before exchanging the pack it won't disappear. But, if you still have your backpack on when you take the other backpack, that is what makes it disappear.
