All servers get more then enough resources. I just logged into that box your server is on. There is over 8gb's of ram of free. 60% of the network capacity. And at worst 40% of the cpu free. Make sure you restart it at least 1 time a day to keep things running good.

I run dallas 11 and the server its self runs great but for some reason i since we started i noticed that the server when its in the list just has a ? next to it for the ping and when you click on it, it says 2500 ping. Is there some sort of option that enables the server to be pinged? As this is a bit annoying. Thanks Furball

The LA 5 machine was un-whitelisted from the HIVE by the devs but has since been fixed. The LA 4 machine has had a hardware failure and we are working on getting that fixed asap. Those on that machine will be compensated via credits to there account and possible slot upgrades.

Give them time man. We here at hfb were hit with TONS of orders and i know vilayer also had lots of orders and had to purchase several machines to keep up with demand. I know Lee has just had an operation and he takes care of a lot of the stuff at vilayer so things might be a bit delayed just give them time. They are a great company and have great support.

It’s halfway through the year, and to celebrate, we are offering 70 slot servers for the price of 60 slot servers! That’s a saving of $10! What’s more, the discount wont only last for the first month, but for the lifetime of the server .

We are seeing what we can do about server time. We have just not had a good dealing with it. We had some servers that ran reverse time and every single person that was put onto it requested to be moved within a week so we stopped doing that. As we were losing money with people even going as far as to file paypal disputes. We simply have not had enough time to try and make something that would do this as its really only me who is running the show and atm antipop is helping with support tickets when he has the time. We will however be attempting to do something as time change (at least a 1 time set it) is the most requested thing atm.

I am the owner of hfbservers or as it used to be known dayzserverhosting.com. We host many of the dallas servers and i have noticed a lot of people beginning to wonder why the dallas servers are going down one by one. Let me take the time to explain. Basically they are all being un-racked and moved to either Seattle or Atlanta our contracts in those DC's allow us to keep the prices as low as we can. Along with the benefit of the seattle servers having a lower latency to the HIVE and of course we feel dayz should not cost as much as it does so our contracts at these locations allow the cheaper prices. The owners of those servers need to contact us (if they have not already) via support ticket and we will get you sorted out. I tried to send most of you emails regarding the change but some of you did slip through the cracks. This only applies to those who have rented the slot servers not the dedicated's as they are not being moved. Notice to the players of those servers. It is really up to the owner of the server if they decide to either first renew or second make a post saying they are moving to location xxx. With the moves we do move those servers mission id's so all your stuff would be saved. I just wanted to take this time to make a quick post about the slight downtime we had today. Basically we had a total of 10 dayz servers go down today. They have since been fixed and put back up. I have seen several posts about people stating all hfbservers.com servers were down which simply was not the case. We currently host about 400 servers and we had only 10 of them go down. I just wanted to clear that up and state that its a very small minority of servers that actually went down. People on the forums tend to take things to an extreme lol. We are very sorry for this down time and like i said above we have already fixed the cause of this. This is also an important alert going out to all those with dedicated servers and vps's with us. PLEASE update your network drivers on the server with the driver found here ftp://ftp.supermicro.com/driver/LAN/Intel/PRO_v17.1.zip This applies to all of those who have the non E3 line of cpu's for your servers. If you do not feel comfortable updating your drivers your self please put in a support ticket and we will take care of you. Also for any of you who do not use our support ticket system PLEASE use that from now on as dayz pm's and emails sent through that will not be responded to in any sort of decent amount of time. Antipop replied to the couple threads that people made. I will however be making a full response thread.

Please reply to the ticket you have. We recently had a slight database issue that caused almost all of the "open" status tickets to show as answered to us but still open to customers. To fix it all you have to do is reply to the ticket again and we will be able to answer your question.

The weekend sale will be ending soon! Once it is over we will be adding our cheapest dedicated server yet! That's right even cheaper then our already cheap prices.

we took the customer service complaints to heart and have been improving as much as possible.

The seattle server orders are the ones that are having the slightly longer wait. We have been setting up all the atlanta orders and the next available orders as we had several servers ready in atlanta. I am currently setting up some seattle machines. So those of you who specified seattle should start to be setup. We had a LOT of orders today lol.

almost all dallas server are being shutdown and moved. I will be making a post for the public to see. We are the host of them.

i can understand you not getting the emails regarding that. I tried sending all the old customers that purchased servers before the new billing system but i may have missed a few (there were a lot) but ill let you know via support ticket what can be done.

@xiii Im working on your server now. @icomrade Full ftp access with start stop restart ability to schedule restarts. Install updates with the push of a button and the ability to view the console. For $25 for a 40 slot setup within 24hours. I would say that is currently the cheapest 40 slot you will find i could be wrong though. Granted you have your personal opinion which is perfectly fine :) @xiii Should be good now. For some reason your server was being run twice

adam is working to fix the webserver. Once this is done we can resume normal server setups. No data has been lost. The control panel is up and working just fine for those who are current clients. it can be found here hfbservers.com:8880

@aesaunic 40 slots its the minimum you are allowed to run. This is a new dayz rule not ours. @chucklemonkey we no longer offer servers in either of those locations. only atlanta and seattle. Vehicles are enabled on all servers up to 2000 which all of our servers are under that number. try restarting your mission from in game. We are thinking of some ways of server offsets but its not an easy task with the control panel we use. Thank you :) @peperonikiller If you can not seem to find any restart your mission from in-game. it will usually force them to spawn. Also i got a nice 12 hours of sleep thats why i did not reply sooner. but dont worry im setting up servers as fast as i can now.
