The AS50 TWS needs to be DB wiped or not able to be saved to hive.
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to KField86's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
The M107 is still a one shot kill by a gigantic margin, and the M107 TWS was in the game. Most people would use the M107 ammo in the AS50 given the chance since it's double the amount. -
Should we remove barbed wire in the next update
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to mattlightfoot's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
Yes unless you actually start cleaning up the barbed wire that hasn't been maintained or update it in the hive so that it actually gets removed when people take it down. -
Tents, why Admin with so many tents
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to gwbrewer's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If you want to remove tents, pulling everything out and save the tent repeatedly still works. Running it over does not. -

jonesyx@gmail.com replied to gwbrewer's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
FYI you should probably be as thankful that tents are as fucked as they are at the moment, there's currently a script that can be run to nuke all the tents on a server floating around. Which is just no fun. -

Used DayZ Radar to spot a hacker who does not appear on playerlist
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to sgtwilson's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
You know you can sit with netstat -aon or -nab (or Resource Monitor from task manager or Wireshark or Microsoft Process Explorer) and see if the process touches the network adapter at all right? Hint: It doesn't. -

jonesyx@gmail.com replied to sgtwilson's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If you had bothered to look at the very first picture of this thread you would have seen that the FTP function was part of an older French release that allowed people to analyze live RPTs via FTP. -
Used DayZ Radar to spot a hacker who does not appear on playerlist
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to sgtwilson's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
It appears you're using the oldest version of the program, which is pretty incredibly buggy. If you take a look at (-), you'll notice that the player ID changes vastly. What is happening is the hive is either desyncing or the player name just isn't being transmitted correctly, which gives the appearance of there being a hideous amount of teleporting going on. I suggest running it through the newest version and seeing what pops up then. -

Because people are being absolute morons about this and suspenselol is contributing his inane blather to other threads, here's the anti-virus scan for the most recent executable: https://www.virustot...sis/1344427551/ It gets Win32 virus on two anti-viruses from China, one designed primarily for Latin America and one anti-malware program known for a history of high false positives. Note that it gets nothing from the major anti-virus makers. edit: Here are the hashes and the exact file size since apparently somebody decided to release a hack with the exact same name or some shit. Read above. Somebody additionally decided to try to steal our name so if you're on US 1776 currently it isn't us. -
US 1776, Kicking for 200 ping/threatening to ban for it ?
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to StrikeGTX's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
Just an FYI, this wasn't us who ran/run the US Seattle 1776 server. We've been down for several days while we've changed hosts and I guess somebody decided to snag our server # in the interim. http://arma2.swec.se/server/data/154600 is the server StrikeGTX is talking about, http://arma2.swec.se/server/data/268990 was ours. I say this because it was confusing as hell for me until I actually checked and saw somebody decided to steal the name. -
Random Script Errors When Opening Server Control?
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to U.B.C.S. Ravin's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
There is a command for logging in without going through the dedicated server control interface. That's on the kick list since people use it as a hack injection method. -
I love checking direct chat in the server log
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to Charlizard's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
BEC has native direct chat logging so you don't have to actually troll for that. -
Server-side Hotfix 0.7.2, Helicopter status and server info
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to Vipeax's topic in Mod Announcements & Info
The development team has gone through the absolutely moronic route of changing the hiveext with every patch, forcing you to deploy any new patch within ~36 hours of it come out. So people who actually wanted to avoid the hideous graphical issues that 1.7.2.4 brought can't. -
Server-side Hotfix 0.7.2, Helicopter status and server info

How exactly are you restarting the server? Doing #shutdown and then relaunching it is the cleanest way to do it. -
All Server Hosts/Admins - PLEASE READ!
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to iHateHaters's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If they're teleporting the whole server and have the possibility of having players with vehicles in them they need to make sure their positions aren't exactly the same, otherwise it might cause the server to implode. -
Players being kicked while driving vehicles for "Battleye restriction #54"
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to bobbeh's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
If they're getting that it's the result of a vehicle exploding either due to gunfire or just plain crashing from what I recall. If you check the scripts.log for #54 it should show you what #54 actually is. -
How many servers would this run?
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to scrumbee's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
You can probably run 6+ on that setup at the very least. Even running two I don't think our server used over a gig of ram and it worked perfectly on a 3 year old dual core Opteron. -
Welcome to Seattle 1776
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to ButterBall's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
We're going to be switching hosts in the coming days (read: tomorrow at the latest) so bear with us, the servers will most likely be down. The new server host will be located on the east coast of the US in New Jersey. -

Seattle 1776 Admin Abuse; Server Locked
jonesyx@gmail.com replied to radioghost's topic in Mod Servers & Private Hives
You're a moron. We lock the server 5 minutes before a restart to prevent players from losing progress.
