Barbed wire really needs to be taken out until the selection to remove can be extended to the whole wire bale and not just the stakes. The stakes are far too often inside walls and thus irremovable. Tank traps work fine as it is though, they're just very uncommon. -

You only have so many inventory spaces in your backpack, you know. The changes you're suggesting are sort of pushing the smaller backpack's loadouts. -

You really need to make sure you're doing it on level ground and that you've already dropped the backpack you're wearing, otherwise it has a tendency to break horrendously. -

It's not so much a theory as you'd have to install, grab the key and pack it in a reg, uninstall, and then reinstall. Which would take forever.

Bodies currently disappear a bit quickly. I'm hearing reports of them disappearing within 90 seconds on the Dallas servers. -

Might it not be a good idea to switch back to the old system that actually worked (even with the increased server strain) until gear selection is fully tested? A lot of people who found and fixed cars are going to be pissed when their location doesn't actually save. Same with not being able to bandage friends or give them blood.

The problem that I'm seeing with it is that in previous versions, you had increased stress on the server/desyncs, sure. But you additionally had all your actions saved/usable. Now it's come to the point where you stealing a car and driving it halfway across the server might not stick because you can't save its position; or you dying from lack of food because you can't get the fire working correctly to cook the 8 raw meats you have. Couple that with tents not being placeable still, the whole database issue still not being resolved (apparently) and people randomly spawning in water, it seems a little weird to keep with this system when the old system worked good enough to actually enable people to test the other bugfixes that rocket is putting out.

So spend $10 on OA, because that's what the key for Day-Z is actually taken from. You could switch back and forth with regedit .reg files, but you'd have to get the correct values by installing twice in the first place because the key values are encrypted.
