I think a good question to ask is how widespread is this epidemic? Will outside governments still be operating? Why wouldn't they have locked the area down by now?

Traitorous viewpoints? No, just lacking with any particular insight. Lumping people into one of two groups is pretty lame and doesn't do anything to help really get into the meat of what drives PvP.

Even then, it becomes nothing but a popularity contest.

I like at least having third person, though I can play with 'em all off.

Hunting another player is much more risky than that of sneaking through a village where zombies can get tripped' date=' and getting caught with your pants down by another survivor has (typically) resulted in a shoot-first-ask-later scenario. Tracking a person is faster, but has a higher risk of failure compared to carefully sneaking into a town, at night, finding a Compound Crossbow, two bolts, two cans of food, and maybe a map. This shows you aren't thinking about the whole of it, and are willing to oversimplify.

It was suggested you leave because you fail to understand the core of the matter. Grossly oversimplifying the situation makes it even more difficult to come to compromise or to learn about other people's mindset when playing the game. Sometimes, certain approaches to a discussion are more detrimental as a whole than they are beneficial to all parties.

Due to the random nature of spawns along the coast, it's really hard to "Grief" proper.

Spend a few hours collecting enough gear to head north, then head north.

While having the lack of pain can help withstand damage, I still think it's pretty hard to see them running as insanely fast as they do. Four legs versus two, digigrade versus... not... Should you be able to outrun them? For a little while probably, but they don't have the limitation of stamina.

The guys that worked on ARMA II deserve to be paid. You being unable to afford it doesn't change the situation any. Sharing SteamIDs is a violation of the Steam Subscriber Agreement. Save $10 for a few weeks and you can afford it.

Eh, two or three rounds can sort a single zombie out so it's not too badly off. I think it's a good change, even if it took me time to get used to it.

I was worried about the Makarov being a replacement for the revolver for new players. I'm no longer concerned and find the change for the better.

Going solo already has it's fairly strong risks. I'm not sure if I believe another is needed.

Amusingly enough, I've only had issues with stairs. (I literally fell THROUGH them.) Ladders seem fine for me for the most part as long as I'm careful at the top and let ALL animations finish before moving.

I don't /mind/ playing at night. Scavenging and moving around is pretty tough with a new character though.

All weapons NEED to remain lethal to players at least.

Spotting a thrown flare or a flashlight in use and figuring out how to intercept without the use of lighting aids yourself, without alerting zombies, without alerting the target, and without alerting other hunters and survivors is all part of the game as well. There can be an element of luck, just as there's an element of luck of running into friendly people. But a lot of any hunting I do (and I do admit, I did deserve my bandit garb) involved hearing or seeing evidence of a survivor and literally tracking him down.

I shoot ANYONE running at me. No exceptions.

Organize it sure, just don't ask for some arbitrary invulnerability when bandits keep tearing it up.
