For me my first (and only yet) kill was an the most intense experience i ever had in a game. Everything started easy. I spawned near Balota and thought i had nothing to lose - so i decided to check the tower at the airfield. It should become a very lucky day for me - in the top of the tower I found a PDW and an M16A2 ..both better weapons than any other one I ever had before. As I took them a friend called me and i took my headphones off my ears. Eventhough they werent on my ears I heard suspicious footsteps and tried to end the phonecall asap. And right in the moment put away the phone another surviver came into upper level. He went straight towards me and began to smash the shit out of me with his hatchet. It took me ages to draw the M16 and shoot him. And when he was dead and i had bandaged my wounds i was on just over 3000 blood. I was so suprised by my finding luck, the attack and my near death experience that i had to stop playing and divert myself from the game to calm down. I was absolutly never so taken by a game - it was incredible intense. Thats what i love about DayZ. Since then I ate my way through dozens of food cans to restore my blood and ...most important.. im still alive, longer than ever before. Btw, I got a bandit kill for that action. Was the guy I killed a Bandit because he attacked me first or was I not the first victim of his dreadful hatchet?
