Any updates pie? Been away for 9 days on my holidays.

Ok guys, time to organize! Pie has put me in charge of security, anybody who wanted to help with the security aspect of the outpost needs to add me on skype so we can talk about guard teams, sniper/spotter teams an the like. I need: 5 sniper/spotter teams 2 teams of 2 guards patrolling outside the base 5-6 guards inside the base 1-2 guards at the front gate If you can also post here with your preference I'll do my best to accommodate, it might be a bit boring until we get raided by bandits, however I can see that being a daily thing. Thanks for all the offers of help :) As an added bonus I'll try and equip sniper teams with ghillies, and guards with camo clothing :) Also I just thought of a great name - "Chern R us trading" what do you think?

Big update - In a few days we will be airborne, found a chopper tonight on our home server, In the next few days hopefully we can really get the ball rolling, we have access to lots of loot now and can hopefully start building our outpost. Once the building is complete we should be able to start trading :)

I got a bizon with one mag you can have for the m4 if you're still interested.

DayZ isn't optimised for SLI or crossfire configurations, try disabling one card, that rig should smash the shit out of this game. I run an i5 2500k overclocked to 4.5gHz with 8gb 1600mhz RAM and a Sapphire Radeon 7850hd OC and I run it high on everything except AA in 1920x1080 and get 90/100fps.

I have 2 spare ghillies from tents i just raided, i don't want anything in return, just to further my enjoyment of the game by helping people out.

I'm sure that YOU do. However do you run one on all 4621 servers? I doubt it. Scared of a little competition?

In my experience the LU servers tend to be the best ones, I played one for half hour yesterday, took 2 mins from selection to loading to in game.

Also it has a friends list which could prove very useful.

Ok, I won't be able to play with you guys until you all have 1.7.2.5. Dayz commander has a filter that show servers you can play with your arma and Dayz version, best way to do it IMO.

I was only going to record us looting and the actual trading sessions going on, not our camp/ base of operations lol. Yea, I'll post it tomorrow, can't remember what it is right now. Hopefully I'll get some epic footage!

There's a thread on the discussion page about how launcher has stopped or apparently is stopping being updated, that's why I went with commander. Also, with your permission I'd like to record our setting up and running this trading outpost and post it on my YouTube channel? I believe that would be quite cool, and maybe get us alot more custom if each trading session was recorded. 'where we were before' do you mean the deep valley or the northern area?

Found out what happened to the car..... It was taken for a spin and was met with a M107 round to the engine block. Boom. In other news, me and Nate was playing on EU2, there was rampant hacking, cherno and balota were on fire, there were 3 hueys in the air, I got killed by either superman or a hacker, he took 3 m107 rounds to the skull and still 1 shotted my with an Enfield. ( I've got fraps of the fires lol) Nate met his fate also to a hacker, so now we are bare again. Not a good session.

^exactly Look at all these threads requesting trades, plenty of scope here, and freeside are only on 2/3 servers I think, whereas dayz has like 1 million players. Having competition and bandit attacks makes for hell of a good gaming experience as opposed to 'run here, loot that, shoot him, run there, loot that, get shot'. Don't get me wrong that's still fun as hell, this is a different way of playing. It's not even set up yet and I'm having a blast. I'll fill you in tonight pie, should be on about 6pm.
