What do you guys suggest? DE123 has the same issues. Is a Rollback to 1.7.1.5 possible?

I was thinking about making my point more clear. But i thought people are smart enough to realize what i was trying to say. He chose a ~50$ GPU. Think about it. First of all: You can take a 1500W power supply and your PC would run just as fine as with your current setting. You will not "overload" your motherboard. The motherboard and the other components will just "TAKE" as much as they need. So if they need 250W, they will take 250W. the 1500W power supply would now just have a "Reserve" of up to 1250W (Not completely true as there are other factors like "loss" through heat generation/transformation and many other factors, but this is just meant to be an easy example) which means you can connect a TON of more powerful stuff to it. GPU wise i would reccomend to take something more powerfull than a 5570. I would suggest you should look for a card in the price range of 120-150+ to be really "happy" with your new hardware. But to be honest, even your CPU is not that powerfull anymore and might even be a bigger bottleneck than your current GPU. You could do a little test and get a CPU and GPU "monitoring" tool and check the Load on each of them in the Games you usualy play. Then you should consider upgrading the one which reaches 100% load more often. And yes, personally i would rather wait 2 or 3 month to save some money for better stuff, instead of going for cheap stuff which i can afford right now.

To put it in quick words: You are WRONG! :) You just had bad luck that the server maybe bugged out and did not spawn stuff. But in all 4 of the "Towers" you have a high chance of finding military grade weapons.

Heya, Unfortunately the server logs (at least those I found so far) are pretty shabby. But I was playing at the same time and actually thought it was a bug (The Friendly fire message including CCCP Wolf) The restart was not done by them, it was our Server crashing due to some issues. We could put them on "our" Banlist but iam not sure if we are allowed to. We will try to figure that out. So thank you for reporting this issue. I hope we can get rid of those guys as they seem to abuse some bugs or keep using a hacked server to quickly travel to locations to then change the server again? They definitely don't belong to us (TBR) and have no control over our Server. PS: Server is down for maintenance and should come back up later today.

Thank you for not just killing everybody! We are doing the same on our Server. If we see people before they see us, we try to approach them and help / Trade if possible. Would love to see more people play like this instead of being reckless A*holes shooting everybody on sight. Unfortunately I can't properly run fraps all the time to record our encounters, but so far we met more than 10 People. Some of them joined our group, others we just traded stuff or helped them out. Its way more interesting instead of just popping a round into people you encounter.

This!!! Thats how we recruited a group of 2, a loner and yesterday a group of 4 people to play with us. Usually I am the moron running in and screaming FRIENDLYYYYYY in direct chat. Until now i did not get killed in the Process. Even though I always make clear I am not alone and covered. //edit quoted wrong text :D

I stumbled across this Video this morning: It totally reminds me of DayZ and even includes the reason why some people kill each other on sight. If you don't speak french you have to turn on subtitles but even then I think its a pretty cool short. Iam running the latest Beta Patch (downloaded yesterday) and i still have this issue. I had an Enfield + 2 Mags + 2 Stanag 30rnd Mags in my inventory. (I picked up the 2 Stanag mags because a friend told me he found an M4) I went to the M4 and opend the Gears selection. Then i Dropped the Enfield mags into the Pile. Now i double clicked the M4 to swap it with my Enfield. I got the M4 + 2 Mags which where on the ground but my Enfield + the 2 extra stanag magazines disappeared. So out of Enfield + 2 Mags and M4 + 4 Magazines i ended up with: 2 Enfield mags on the ground (those i dropped manually) and the M4 + 2 Mags (which where on the ground before) I had enough inventory space to hold all magazines.

Ah btw: What did I do before I spawned on the wasteland. I logged out on a pretty laggy US Server (Kansas 1) to see if relogging would fix my lags. When I tried to re-join the Server, the game got stuck on the "Loading" Screen. I was waiting for approximately 5 Minutes and nothing happened. Then I force closed the Arma client and went playing another game. A few hours later I joined another Server and spawned on the Wasteland. A friend of mine who had the same issue (Lag then stuck on "Loading" and force-close) was spawning on his original position.

I can confirm the solution! Aproximately 1.5 h , 3 Bottles of Water and 3 Cans of beans later, i reached the playable map. Was heading S/E the whole time. (Luckily had a compass with me) I went to a village and shot two zombies to go sure that i get "saved" and re-logged. This time my character stayed properly saved in my location. Was worth it and definitely works.

I had a similar thing. What happened: I was lying in a bush observing players. Apparently my leg broke and i started bleeding. (No gunshots) I maybe was moving. Where you were: don't remember What you were doing: Observing other players with binoculars from prone position in a bush. Was on version: 1.5.6. A friend of mine had a similar thing as well. He went prone into a bush as he had to go to toilet. When he was back he turned his character and pressed the stand up key in which moment he instantly broke his leg and started bleeding.

Date/Time: 16.05.12 Observed: Player re-gained blood by eating meat and beans. (aprox. 4000 blood restored). Game was saved several times (we played for an hour after regaining the blood). Server crashed After we connected to a new server, the blood level was on the previous value (2000) even though the equipment was up to date (saved shortly before the crash) It appears that the blood level only gets saved when you disconnect normally from a server. *Current installed version: 1.5.7 *Timeline of events before/after error: Blood level 2000 hunting animals and eating meat blood level 6000 continued to play for an hour without disconnecting server crashed joining new server Blood level back to 2000, equipment was the latest we picked up. Additional info: One of our group members disconnected due to graphic problems and joined back before the server crashed. After the server crash his blood level was the higher one (after eating).

I would prefer that this sound gets removed completely. it completely removes the feeling that "You" are the guy being chased by zombies. It becomes more or less a "this guy who is crying is getting chased" And well. In a world where nothing else then zombies and survivors are left, i doubt that those who constantly cry would belong to the survivors. And even if. Even they would "get used to it" and stop freaking out. And last but not least, instead of me being scared when iam chased, i get annoyed by this whiny character i have which completely breaks away the fear from zombies..

Maybe NOW but dude in the evening time (When people come back from work) the servers are packed like hell! Those which regulary have one or two free slots are usually those where you can't join the game for half an hour.
