Worrun (DayZ)

Walking through the forest yesterday for 4 hours I came across about 12 different tents, all of which were empty. There was even one on the top floor of a Castle tower in the absolute middle of nowhere. Shame I couldn't sleep in them for blood or take them for money or some crap :(

I did it today in a town called Vyshnoye or something. There was a dude there too with loads of weapons and no food, I guess we both suffered the same fate. Could've been you! Oh god how I wish I knew his story.

And I've never seen a single one of those :( Atleast bicycles should be really common, I mean cmon this world is huuuge.

Took me a while to learn to use the Flashlight too (-_-) You press G to go to your inventory and it should be in a small slot at the very bottom, right-click it and select "remove from toolbelt" this will take it to the sidearm slot that has a pistol picture in it when nothing is there (it's the larder box above where your Flashlight was earlier) then go off your inventory (Esc or G again) and it should be in your hand, then press L to turn it on and off. I heard it only works at night time though and cannot be used as a weapon :(

Yeah man it's epic! But I've only seen 1 person so far and he didn't see me and I couldn't catch up to him :(

Haha, yeah I think it's stupid that people are so edgy but there's nothing to be done other than PVE servers. :(

Yeah because there are plenty of games that are exactly like Day Z right? No. This is the only game of it's type and if I wanted to play a different game I would be on those forums instead of these. I'm done arguing this point any longer, people are just too ignorant/dumb to see any kind of logic. I'll just wait to see if it comes or not. End. Try being in a farm town in the middle of nowhere with no food, all the weapons and equipment you could possibly wish for and then to die of starvation. :(

Yeah that would be a must. :) It would be an option for the people that preffer to play in a casual, friendly environment. Nobody would be forcing anybody at all to play PVP or PVE and everyone would be happy. I don't understand why people are voting against this so much, if they don't want to play it then fine but we do so why can't we have a choice? :( Also, your character would be labeled PVP or PVE so you can only enter the respective world. That would stop exploiters/hoppers getting some easy stuff in PVE and taking it into PVP to rape some faces. :D

Great idea, just what I was thinking too.

I think I did pretty damn well considering the average life time is supposedly 35 minutes. Mine was around 11 real life hours. http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/76/screenshot171909.jpg Does your zombie kill count really mean much? I guess it shows that you atleast did something. I only owned 1 gun, a reliable Winchester (that I will never forget <3) and shot only 30ish rounds through it. For the rest I used the Hatchet/Torch combo at night time and the zombies are real easy to kill.

I don't think I'll ever go to Cherno, I don't need to (or haven't so far). You can get great guns in the farm towns (Winchester ftw :D) and other stuffs :D I just restarted and found a crane! I climbed to the top, and just flew over the 4 foot high railing as if it was a curbstone. I died instantly :(

I'm sorry but tl:dr but I agree, we need to have some incentive for players to join up, although: Do NOT make it so we can't effectively survive alone. Some of us don't have friends to play with or preffer to play alone or simply can't be bothered to find someone or limit your playing time to only when the other person is available to play. Also, bring back chat. I think a GREAT idea would be area chat, like in your town/area/sqKLM there is a seperate chat box to the next, that way you won't see every single person from Cherno to Green Mountain (shiver) to the coast spamming chat and you can say e.g. "You there, next to the red barn" and they will know someone can see them etc.

I think the zombies could move a little slower as it's hard to outrun them and if you don't have a weapon (you can't even use your hands to break neck, punch or strangle the zombies) if they ran faster than you, you're simply fucked. The hearing and sight is fine as it is IMO, I can Shift Walk to a zombie and kill it with an axe before it spots me, and if I'm directly infront of it it will only see me from 5 feet away, can't see that needing a nerf :D Yeah they are bugged as hell (running/walking/attacking through walls, walking in floors) and zig-zagging all over the place making me waste my precious ammo :D (I'm new I am not a great shot yet)

I made a suggestion about possibly PVE servers and just got assraped by our super friendly community. I still want PVE servers though. :)
