More item Tetris plz! Really you shuold be able to sort your stuff in a way you are able to organize your stuff like in rl! I can put some stuff in my bag, if I'm going for a short walk and it can be a 'mess' inside the bag. But, if I want to go on a hike, I need to organize my backpack quite well in order to get all the stuff in it. Imagine a backpack, like you use it to go to work or school. In reality it would be three dimensional. In games they are always flat, but that's o.k., because you need to abstract it to k.i.s.s. So It has a shape like this, ingame: OOO OOOOO OOOOOOO OOOOOOO OOOOOOO OOOOOOO OOOOOOO OOOOOOO OOOOOOO O.k., so all the 'O' are free slots and you can put items 'X' in it. I guess an M4 would fit in it and it has a shape like this: XXXXXXXXX XXX without mag. and like this: XXXXXXXXX XXX X with mag attached. A can of :emptycan: , would be this: XX or X X You can flip and mirror the direction of the item. M4 with mag like this: X X X XX X XX XX XX In the backpack, it would look like this: XOO OXOOO OOXOOOO OOXOOOO OXXOOOO OOXOOOO OXXOOOO OXXOOOO OXXOOOO In case of programming, you would create a class 'shape' which is the entity for all items that you can pick up. It is a matrix, which defines the space for any items. Certain items can be put into other items hierarchicly. You can't put a backpack into engineparts, even though they got the same volume. Which is logical ;) But you can put a battery into an electric device how it is already. The weight anyhow is calculated seperately. Moving in and on this buildings would be just awesome! Imagine the possibilities! :thumbsup: And, like s.o. said in another thread, it would give some verticality. My :beans: for this proposal! Edit: Just please not in use, except a group of players managed to get it running (the foundry or similar buildings) to craft something. But when it is on a 'fresh' server, it should look like it was left in a rush.

Many of the things you mentioned have been discussed already, but I like that you share your thoughts about how to evolve the game. So, beans for this! Basebuilding and cars are very far down the line so we will deal with them earliest end of the year. If you don't like them don't use them. For me I would like to find a cave to store my stuff. The farer away from 'civilisation' the better for me. Chernarus is, if I remember right, part of a real eastern European country. So it will be a mix of western and eastern armory that we will see in the final game. The fact that we got M4 assault rifles is just that they are the if you want so standard assault rifle. Don't get me wrong it is not standard for Chernarus but the default assault rifle for testing purpose. Every assault rifle you will find later on is a stat variety of this default one. So far...

As a German I can really understand what you are thinking. We aren't allowed to play quite brutal games that exercise killing in "extreme ways". Lots of games weren't even sold officially here. But I can understand if they decide to not take that into account if the game might be banned in Australia, because of drug reference (which is most time the case if something is banned in Australia, if I remember right). This is just a simple question of gain and cost and they probably looked at all the markets DayZ was sold and realized Australia isn't so profitable. Edit: economics, all the time it's about economics ...

What we play is an early version of a $/€ 50 game which you got for nearly the half, even before its release. So just be pleased with the possibility the devs gave us. :thumbsup: -
What would you like more? If they hire someone who makes the game evolving, or someone they pay to handle the communication flow? I'd prefer the first!
