If you're into recording some video game footage, I'd suggest Nvidia cards. Reason * Free recording software of which does not impact your FPS * It's called "Shadowplay" With how bad the frame-rate is in DayZ, It's best to be able to record and have great FPS. Look for either the GTX 600 series or GTX 700 series, only these cards support "shadowplay".

Playing 1PP has made me a far better player

There is a massive difference in terms of strategy with 3PP versus 1PP. An example for the current military death match area. * Players just south of the base can hug a wall a scout players coming from the south side of base without being spotted by the enemy. While on the 1PP you would need to expose your-self to the enemy in order to scout the surrounding area. -

It's going to be tough for people to give up the 3pp crutch, but I'll agree with you on the subject that the 1pp changes the game entirely. Since players can no longer check corners and peek over walls, it makes for a more immersive atmosphere. -
Not to mention he was peaking through the walls before he got on top of the air control tower.

This encounter was quite interesting, since I saw an armed player looting buildings with a mosin. I thought this would be my best chance to get a decent weapon, but man in the end I got something better than a weapon, it was a friend.

You don't need ArmA 2, just use the settings that are on the screenshot I posted. Play around with the settings and see what Improves the performance of your SLI setup.

Actually he found it quite funny that I uploaded the whole encounter. :D No problem, I'll try to catch more encounters like this but I won't lie it could either once we both stopped. I just realized that punching the zombies was a great chance for him to knock me out. But tbh, he sounded like a player I could trust. I'll keep on making more. B)

Since DayZ is based off the same old engine of ArmA 2, you can utilize some SLI profiles for that game and DayZ. Just download Nvidia Inspector and try the changes.

There is a way to force SLI on DayZ SA, through Nvidia Inspector. Here is the settings to have SLI working on DayZ SA.

It really is sad that the team is wasting resources and time to satisfy the community for the hive system. Nothing is going to change, the 200 sec server hopping timer is a joke and this will not discourage players to server hop at any of the popular military bases. The solution is obvious, the only question is will the DayZ dev give the community the option. I mean if private hives will be in the game, why not character locked servers.

#1 hahahaha, I'll take a guess that you've never played the mod. Server hopping was quite common in the military bases and at the popular sniper gallery towns, there is no way to completely eliminate the problem. The timer does not remove the problem, it just slows it down at a max of 200 sec.... LOL Waste 10-20 min running to another military base or just server hop to a dead server in order to obtain military loot. As for the loot re-spawn system, not excited about it. Every military base is going to look just like this picture. Having player locked servers eliminates server hopping entirely, it forces the player to be dedicated to a server. What is even more funny, is how narrow minded players such as you are. * What happens when persistent storage items are introduced to the servers, you're going to dedicated your time to store items on a specific server. * What happens when persistent vehicles are are introduced to the servers, you're going to dedicated your time to that vehicles in both fixing / traveling. * What happens when persistent farming is added, same story, you're dedicated to a single server. What happens when that server is removed? * you lose everything. Now of course what players have done in the past is make "warehouse servers", aka a clans server. Server hopping at this stage is quite different. * Players hop servers to find player bases, it's quite common in the mod and I am sure it will happen again, thanks to the public hive. -------------- Player locked servers forces players to actually travel around the map in the hopes of both finding players and engaging in fair pvp. The solution is quite simple. Keep the public hive for the server hopping community, but introduce a character locked server system as-well for those people who actually want to play fair. * Public Hive * Private Hive * Character locked Servers

Not even ArmA 3 has the physics system to support gore. It would honestly take allot of the teams time to create a good system. But tbh, I'd prefer the team to focus on creating more fluid movements in the game than to focus on gore, the game is still very clunky.

This doesn't make any sense. The whole point of the public hive is to jump from server to server. If you want to have classic DayZ gameplay / no custom scripts / no private hives. You would need to introduce character locked servers, not part of any hive.
