one time purchase will probably work best. if you are going to do monthly, the game itself should be free to get and then monthly access should be relatively cheap. it doesnt have a 600 man army updating it, so i dont expect to pay WoW prices for it (which is also why it should be one time purchase) kickstarter for sure. let the community host the servers, but code in strict rulings so they cant do things like permanent day or permanent night servers. the community buying the hosting saves you tons of money.

i got bored of sniping and tossed my svd camo, i use my sidearm for zombies and my main for areas where i may run into pvp, then i have my lulz guns which i juggle out as i find them and i just have fun with those, on zombies or bandits whatever lol (anything from a lee enfield to a m136)

HAHAHAHAHAHA oh man, that one was great. ran to NWAF to give my friend morphine (my last one...), after i almost i got shot >.> we headed out, and were running into a residential building (wood cabin), he was leading i was behind him - he lagged after walking into the entrance and warped back far enough that it jammed both of us into the doorway... the door said NO, pushed him through the wall and me into the building, broke both our legs, both bleeding (took 2 bandages to stop bleeding for mine???), both in shock, both unconscious, we were both full health when entering, both left barely over 3k. let the rolling commence! in summary: friend lagged and pushed us both through a door with some vicious splinters, both broken legs, commence crawling.

the very first time i heard of ArmA was arma2, and the first thing i heard about it was "LOL look at how stupidly hackable this game is, people are spawning planes on peoples heads!"kinda makes me shun it.

not true, tera for example has a world that makes cherno look tiny and you can run through every bit of it without a loading screen.i think APB had a pretty big world but i cant honestly remember the size of it in scale to cherno, the desert of global agenda was certainly close in size though. oh hell with all that, i just want mirror's edge physics! let me climb that tree and show you a real sniper spot ;) i think cry engine would be amazing, but i'd hate to see rocket have to start from scratch to get things ported to that engine. CE3 looks sick as hell.edit: surprised i didnt see anyone mention the frostbite2 engine (BF3) - not that im recommending it (as much fun as cutting down EVERY building with a hatchet may be)
