Maybe the same way all the M4 and M16 came there. But maybe you're right. The walking bomb thing is a risk vs reward. But carrying Fuel without a Backpack is not really possible thats true. It could be more of a MadMax Thing, Vehicle or Tower Mounted if we are sometimes able to build simple structures and Defenses. But probably not worth the effort. But still not the worst Suggestion. ;) -

Try to find out how the game works. Collect Morphine and store it in your Backpack or Inventory. Once you break a leg - right click the Morphine - Stand up and run away. -

Yes NVGs look like NVGs on the ground. Similar to Binos as you said. Similar sized too.

GPS is easy to find its classified as low military loot so you can find it even at deer stands. I owned NVG twice. One I found at the NW Airfield Barracks, the other one , I currently have , is the best story of my life. Spawned at the Beach in the very west in the night before the 1.7.1 Patch. It was dark and I didnt see shit. Lost my life in a Group vs. Group Firefight in Cherno and lost Equip worth a few days. Was a bit angry but thats life. I saw something in front of me that looked like a corpse first. Thought it was a respawned Survivor and Opened his Backpack when I realised that it is a 24 Slot Backpack and The Person wearing it, is still alive and watches the spawn points at the coast. It was pure luck I saw this Camo wearing, prone Person in the grass at night cause I stepped on him. I took my Makarov and shot 2 Bullets in his pretty unlucky Head from a distance of 50 cm. Opened his Corpse and got almost a Heart attack. M4 CCO SD, 24 Slot Pack, NVG, Ammo, GPS, Blood Transfusion, even Antibiotics and Heat Packs. Unlucky Guy is not going to wait for Survivor Spawns to kill for a little time. :D So you wanna find NVGs? You need pure luck.

@Aaron: You are a bit over the top with that. I never liked Arma or Arma2. I bought this for this mod cause that setting is really nice. I came to this mod in the end of April after seeing some Videos of this Mod. I fell in love with this unforgiving and challenging game. And I don't have a problem with Fuel-Loaded Flamethrower suggestions. Would fit in if you ask me. I was always a sandbox player and an older MMO Player who still knows the Full Loot Open PvP Games of the past. More people - more opinions. Many of the newer people don't complain. We are having great fun with this mod and will adapt every new thing. Never had a game before where Gunfights are so much Adrenalin based. Ans so many people new people will find out that this mod is challenging and great fun and begin to play. But all will have different playstyles and different things in mind. As long as players who barely played the game don't come here and suggest Punishment or "Balance" (Balance in their words mostly means that game should change that they don't die) Im fine with it. So please stop flaming all newer and all Not-Arma players for a few people who spam the forums with strange suggestions. -

Well that's a bummer. I haven't even noticed it. Do you like it? Yes its ok. You have to be very close and you'll feel like getting a heart attack when you look at me. So I cant betray you - but I never did. I usually roam in groups - mixed groups - and they are my friends and random persons are not. But I also help people sometimes or spare that bullet if I feel sympathy. A mark on the map would be a superheavy Punishment - in a feel free what you want to do world. And it has nothing to do with killing noobs and also nothing with CoD Style of Gameplay. I usually stay alive for longer periods. -

Suggestions should only be possible after knowing the actual game and how things work. Link Forum Account to CD Key, Let Users post suggestions after staying alive for a larger period or simply after 50 hours of playtime and let players focus at finding bugs until then. When you have a better understanding of the engine, the game and how things work - you can suggest things in a appropriate forum. -

Funny you mentioned the road. It has exactly the same feeling as DayZ. Trust No One! Shoot on Sight or Hide and run if you can! Steal if you can and survive yourself. Sometimes trust somebody, give him something to eat but get the fuck away then. Or as Fallen Earth states: Life is cheap, Bullets are expensive. -
Why should that go away? I like playing third person when running around in the woods. Wouldnt be the same for me when I m forced to 1st person. Let the Server admins decide and the players choose. Stop trying to force others at your own playstyle.

Sanity: Turning DayZ from a FFA shooter to a survival game.

Roaming around in small groups is far more fun for me than alone. Nobody needs to force anybody to do something. 2 or 3 People in a group have more fun, are more capable of guarding each other or at least save the dead body of one teammember of beeing looted by strangers. Often got my life saved by friends: Got shot beeing bleeding to death? - No thanks God you have ateammate with an Epipen and/o a Bandage and Bloodtransfusion. And Group vs Group Shootouts and Gunfights are far funnier. So, yes i like roaming with small groups of friends or clanmates but that doesnt stop me to shoot at you. Its not only a FFA Shooter - its not only a Survival Game. For me its a FFA Shooter Survival Game but mostly more of a Teamdeathmatch Survival Game. You can do what you want, talk, help, kill, loot - BUT You always have to survive. -
