Servers running the latest hive versions should have helicopters by now, if not, it's because they've not restarted.

ETA still tomorrow? Can't wait for this patch, because of helis :) In my opinion it's ok for people to respawn if they spawn to a place they wouldn't have wanted to spawn at. Big groups who want to play together already have it so hard to find each other, not mentioning getting forced spawns.. "First world problems", no more misclick suicides for me, that's great.

So where should I report hackers..? I talked to a dev (whose name I will not tell here) about a hacker on a stream, I had the timeframe + name of the players, as well as the VoDs of the stream. Still, this dev told me there is "no point" in trying to figure out who the hackers were. I asked him to relay the message or something, but no. My experience of trying to report a hacker has been far from good..

I really want the Ka-137 to be a part of DayZ. It would be so hilarious :D

Indeed, the people who play this game should already know the vocalbulary for it. If you want to learn English, then DayZ is not the way to go (apart from some glossary, of course).

I am suggesting translating everything in the mod. Item names, action menu options, texts such as "You need to move into forest to get wood..", vehicle names.. All that.

Correct, but there are always those who wish to play the game using their native language. Besides, the servers are country specific, why not give the chance to have the corresponding language if you wish. Say for example, on FI servers most of the players are Finnish. Having the option of choosing Finnish wouldn't certainly do any harm.

For starters: I tried searching for a topic like this, I found none. DIFFERENT LANGUAGES I realize that this is something that might not be added at any part of development, not even mentioning alpha -stage. But considering how big the DayZ community is, what I'm suggesting might not be that hard to accomplish. Using volunteers to translate the mod into various languages would be a great idea and wouldn't most likely take any of the time of the devs. All we need is a) either an online suite in which we translate (like Justin.tv has) or something as plain and simple as a text file with the items list, or what ever way the process would be the easiest. This could be done by either many people or a single individual, either way. The good thing about having many people translating into one language is being able to make sure what they translate is correct. Then again, having one trusted translator might be easier to communicate and work with. To prove my point, please post the the language you could help translate DayZ into. So where is the person watching me trough a scope with his finger on the trigger? I could just come back when it's dark if I found a camp during daytime. Besides, let's be realistic here. Only really big groups might have the chance of having someone guard their shit most of the time, and even they're not immortal.

Realism my ass, the current map size is too small to hide any vehicles properly. By that I mean hiding them with a chance of them being where you left them after you come back from dinner. Hiding helicopters will be impossible. If it were realistic I could just fuel my shit to its full and fly far out of the infected area. Anyone who hasn't gotten vehicles legitimately (not just walk into one or not just spawn one *cough*) can't understand how big of a task it is to a) fix the vehicle b) hide it properly. I am aware of the fact that nothing can be hidden perfectly, I am not asking for that. But the current map size is too small to hide any vehicles. You have just ruined the core aspect of DayZ for me. Finding someone else's vehicle is supposed to happen on the road when they're driving, fuelling or fixing their car on the roadside. Not walk 20 minutes on the borders of the map and find them without doing pretty much any effort for it. 2-3 players can EASILY scavenge the most obvious hiding places for vehicles within an hour, just walk within a few hundred meters of each other starting from west going all the way up north and then going east. Any other forest is irrelevant as they're too heavy with traffic. Yes, I mad. Give us locks, something to hide the vehicles with or rafts.. Something to protect what we have scavenged for more than a day. Reading this topic proves my point, this update only helps noobs who have never even seen vehicles. Maybe leave the fucking coast and look for them in the already too obvious spots, that's what I've done and that's how I've gotten my vehicles (which were stolen by ESP hackers, thank you). My ass, if you have a toolbox and you're not a fucking mole you can easily detect all of these and scavenge the camp. Making the mod too noob friendly, that's what is happening. rocket always wanted to keep this as harsh for the beginners as possible, and now this?

There has been no word on enabling the helicopters on newer servers, they never were disabled on older servers though. If your server had helicopters months back, they still are there. If your server is one of the newer ones, then no, there shouldn't be legit helicopters, not unless they've secrectly enabled helicopters on ALL servers without saying a word.
