    It happened to me yesterday. Try to run the game once with a steam, exit, and use dayzcommander (or sixlauncher).

    I found solution for my problem. I downloaded battleye client and server from here, latest version of mod from here, replaced be files (X:\Program Files (x86)\Bohemia Interactive\ArmA\Expansion\BattlEye) replaced mod files (X:\Steam\steamapps\common\arma 2 operation arrowhead\@DayZ\addons) and run the game. Now it works. I did it twice, because at the first time sixlauncher replaced mod files back to 1.2.7.4. Now I use dayzcommander and I'm able to play dayz.

    Yes, I read posts about ARMA's anti-cheat system, why it doesn't fit to DayZ and why it's so hard to find and eliminate cheaters. All the more reason for saying "thanks, admins". At the beginning of my journey with DayZ I liked playing during the day, because I didn't know the map. Now I'm a little more experienced and I appreciate advantages of nighttime. I'm harder to see for other players, so I'm not sniped all the time. It's easier to avoid zeds. Nevertheless the game become more scary... and I like it! -3 UTC timezone woudn't be that bad, but it could affect the number of players. There's lot of new dayz gamers and most of them probably will choose "day" servers.

    Thanks for cleaning up. Last days were a nightmare because of "george". Good to know there's someone who has his finger on the pulse.
