This morning I tried to get back on my favorite server, stated in the title only to find it password locked. What gives? I thought it was against the terms of use. Also is there a way to get on so I can move my stuff from the server to a new one? Disregard this, the password was removed, but could one of the admins explain why there was a password for a short while?

Hey, I'm fairly new to DayZ and I'm looking for some players to join in DayZ that play regularly on the Singaporean servers. Does anyone know any Singaporean clans? I tried doing a search, and couldn't find any. If not, does anyone know of a group, which isn't a clan, that would be willing to take me in? Like a squad? P.S I only speak English and Danish, so I would prefer a English speaking group. Thank you =) P.P.S I usually play on Sg #500

You can do that... on a PRIVATE server NOT connected to the hive. What you are crying for is a private server that is connected to the hive. All this says is that you want free loot so you can hop server and demolish "noobs" on the other public servers. If that's not why you want it just take a private server not connected to the hive. You can still play DayZ and you can password protect it all you want. The key thing is that by not being connected you can't farm on your server and then harrass players on another server. TLDR: Get a private non-hive server, stop QQing, it's to protect the other 600,000 players

Yeh, you can have private password protected servers which have a seperate database from the hive. Basically if you play on the hive and go to your server you lose any progress from the hive, and if you play on your server and hop onto a hive server you lose all your progress. That way you got your private server, and can't abuse it and traumatize the players on public servers by farming stuff on a server nobody can bother you on.
