I get it that if you hack you teleport (because you are already so sad that you hack your weapons why walk ?) But why teleport to vehicles, (specaliy choppers) steal them (or destroy them).. I mean, you are hacking you can teleport and spawn those vehicles.. Still you steal them from other players who put hard work in repairing those. I really dont get it..

Well, i see those "supply" boxes many, many times so it shouldnt be that hard to bypass battleye.. It takes a few bullets to make them catch on fire, but its some nice fireworks :) Also last week I had a hackers fest on my server when about 5 choppers crashed in the factory north from electro.. He spawned all vechicles and players there then crashes his chopper in there (or more choppers) i geuss Lucky for me, I was not on at that time but like 20-40 body's where there :/ everytime you got close to it within 30-50m you would die instantly. 1 server restart and everything was okay again :)

So yesterday my user profile became corrupt and I could not log in to it anymore (keep letting me login at a temporary profile). So i moved all my files to my new user account and everything works fine again. Only, if i start DayZ now it uses my new "userprofile" name, and not the old one I had before.. Does this mean I lost all me things ? or did the name just change ? Some info would be helpfull :)

You do know I mean "User profile" in windows itself, not my arma 2 profile rigth ? Just need to confirm this :)

So on my server lately we got some problem with our vehicles and tents. We (as admins) only got 1 vehicle (ATV) and it DOES save when ever the server restarts, but when updating (or when the server needs to get shut down in case of hackers) all the vehicles reset to there original position (spawn place). Is there any reason why it does this ? Is this from the latest update ? Server runing: 1.7.2.5 + new hive security update thingy

Question about my server, I am running 1.7.2.5 and this should have the "new skin" update etc But in my server it seems like everyone still has the basic skins (me and 3 of my friends) Our humanity is around 3-4k, do you have the basic skin untill you reach 5.5k or 2k for the bandit/hero skin and keep the regular skin until then ? Anyone know about this ? Thanks in advance

So I have rented my server at vilayer.com, it was online almost instant but now the status is stuck at "creating".. I have looked over the settings and I have no idea what it could be :/ Anyone ?

I did try to join, it just keeps hanging on "waiting for host" after about 20 mintues, i left. I recieved a email : This email is aimed at those with pending DayZ servers. As you may know, DayZ allocates instance ID's to each individual game server. Once your purchase a server form us and complete payment, our systems automate the installation of the DayZ server files, but we aren't able to allocate an instance ID until the DayZ team distributed them. If you have completed payment, your service will be listed as Active within the client later, this doesn't mean your server will be live. It can take between 12 and 24 hours for DayZ to allocate an instance ID. This requirement doesn't just relate to Vilayer, any DayZ Host is under the same restrictions and we are working as fast as we can to allocate and activate services to you all. Geuss I will have to wait it out :)

It did, I was able te rename it and the server did rename itself in the list as soon as i restarted. So I geuss i will have to wait then :o

Maybe here has some experience with this so I can fix it myself, creating a ticket would take long.

Ah like that, sure im down with that. I see there are open tomorrow, so we can trade then when the location is secure :)

Half the things you said in there are not true. If you die, you WILL lose all your gear, not only in hardcore mode but also softcore mode. You will however keep your character progression if im correct. And if you want the 'No hand holding" go play Hardcore mode, it does not have safezones you will lose your whole char when you die.. This game will be a kick in the nuts for DayZ.. ST: There are no quests or missions in the traditional gaming industry sense of the word. We’re not building an objective based game, but instead building a sandbox with lots of tools that will allow players to create their own experiences. I also tougth it would have quests, but after reading the full thingy geuss not @Velocirapetor lol, yeah man you nailed it!

DayZ got it from arma, so they have nothing if they would sue them its not like they "own" the rigths to a zombie game

So yeah, we saw some bandits take some gear out of our bait tents and we followed them up to their base 10km away before we could do anything they logged out and left all there stuff up for grabs.. Well we had other plans ;) All the gear you can dream of, every weapon 5+ nv's and a tractor. Happy raiding!

Yep! For some odd reason tho, they are not on the DayZ wiki so many people think its "hacked" in or something haha :D You can find them at the airfield locations or military loot! I will be uploading some more videos soon, follow my channel ;)

Yeah, there where about 8 in there camp, but i only used 5 :) Well the server restarted about 30 - 45 mintues later we went back to check, and all the 13 out of 15 tents where empty barbwire was gone and the tractor ofcourse blew up ;-)

Beware of this disgusting bandit : Forumname: warriorx51 Ingamename: VV4RRi0RXX Skypename: warriorx51 This man shot me and my friend because of 1 silly NV and some random gear. I made a topic to trade anything for a Ghillie suit and he wanted a NV, because i have plenty i said ok. We met at a place in the woods and he was acting all dodgy with his friend and stuff and i could have Alt F4 but i did not because thats not how the game works ;) But yeah, he shot me for litterly nothing. Gratz dude, 1 nv. Like i said, i had plenty, so im not mad just disappointed he acted this way because he seemed legit. Note: You dont have to acctuly "watch" out he cant aim for 1 bit, needed a whole 2 mags to kill me from 5m away (ak47-SU with optics) because i was unarmed I could not shoot back at that time. Disgusting man..

Yeah that what I tougth, i mean if he would have shot me ingame that would be totally diffrent. But here he contacted me on the forum, then PM, then Skype even called me for 1 minute to set the up deal.. To shoot me for 1 silly nv.. Where has this game gone to? Some people just want to see the world burn..

People who agree with this person, are most likely to be the first ones to die / become infected if a real zombie outbreak would occur.. I wouldnt even give them 7 days. Unless they camp in there mothers basement like they do now.
