Its good... but it still allows player recognition in concealed areas possible even if the player doesn't see the concealed player. hover mouse over bush see name or colour -- shoot bush !!!

The ability to join a group mid game is done in quite a few arma2 missions already. Domination, MSO, Patrol Ops MSO. to name a few. Its a great little tool. Im not sure about floating 3d names over heads though. Something more in line... with maybe... hmmm xml logos ? If say the persons group who you joined has an xml logo all subsequent joiners to that group gain the same logo on their uniform / clothes. If they dont have an xml then all players who join him get his name on their uniforms / clothes. Trust me if this was implemented alot more xmls would be being used :)

what about this :- If you rejoin the server you where on last you respawn in the same place. BUT If you join a different server than the one you logged out on you get placed outside of any towns/primary loot locations by 500meters. it would look something like this :- http://i.imgur.com/tp1Ho.jpg where the red circles mean you get moved out of the circles into random area close to but outside the circle. you could probably script a message saying your logging out in a red zone are you sure "yes" "no" buttons. All zones ignored if same server loggin and all zones ignored if re-spawn from death. I tried 1k zones at first but it kinda leaves nowhere left to spawn :) I probably missed some zones but it was just to get the idea.

As stated before because its exploitable. You then get gear from an exploit which then gets transferred onto servers that don't have the exploit enabled. I'm fine with there being servers for beginners and people who need or prefer 3rd on. Just don't allow the items to be transferable from servers that don't use easy and exploitable settings. Ok so you prefer 3rd. Ok so you get a sore head in first (awww). That doesnt remove the fact 3rd is basically an exploit. That is and can be used to see over objects and in some cases through objects. TL;DR keep your exploit 3rd servers just don't allow cross over exploit items

I agree that some people want 3rd on and prefer it that way. We then need new leaderboards with separate sections. And playing on 3rd servers should mean you cant swap to none 3rd. Because using 3rd makes it easier to get loot and that easy gained loot should not be transferable to harder none 3rd servers. Well, I didn't take leaderboards into consideration because they mean absolutely bugger all to me, I'm in it for the immersion. Here's my solution: Get rid of the leaderboards. I agree with the leaderboards lets get rid. now tell my why someone who has it easy to get loot on a 3rd server should be alowed to take that loot onto a server where its harder to earn.

Real Life. 35......................Years Playing computer games.(binatone tennis took my virginity) 9........................Years playing the arma series with currently serving or ex service players as well as none service. 13......................Years playing in clans and communities in various FPS games. Impact in game. 1) I do not shoot on sight unless they are stealing my stuff and even then sometimes I still dont. 2) I will return fire or shoot first if I witness a "Definite Shoot on sight Murder" or a player "killing for fun". 3) I will help other players. 4) I work best in a Group but can and do go scouting alone or in a 2 man team. 5) I find it disappointing the mentality shown in the majority of younger new players to this mod. 6) My main enjoyment is to adapt and overcome. My real hate is players exploiting and fucking up the mod. 7) I miss the versatility of the ACRE mod in the DayZ mod and in arma2 vanilla itself the basic lack of ingame radio is a complete mystery to me. Since the tech is readily available for ingame implementation in the form of ACRE structure. 8) I also do not understand why BIS have not used the ACE mods popularity to take note of what is missing and what needs altering in the vanilla game.(but hey you never know maybe arma3 will have ACE stuff implemented and we wont have a recruit mode anymore and o god please lets hope 3rd person is gone !!!)
