Its the only way to stop the server hopping exploits. But every exploiter will call this Idea shit and try to give reasons why it wont work. If this was done, a good way to alow players onto other servers would be to increase the spawn locations to encompass all of the map edges North,East,South and West. Then if you logon to a diffident server than the one you where on last. you spawn at one of the spawn locations with a 50% chance you will be in a similar spawn location as when you left but you would be on the map edges. New lifers Eg. respawns would still spawn at original spawn locations along the coast. A larger map would be good for later when standalone. I tested a map for arma2 the other day called sands it is 41km x 41km. I am suprised they haven't just doubled the content in the cheranus map yet.

getting in your box and building a castle would be like killing on sight everybody does it. getting in your box and wandering until you meet somebody else in the box then taking them with you out side the box to have a think about things would be a carebare as far as this game terminology goes :)

Sorry m8 you are confusing arma2 free to play with the DLCs it seems.

Wrong you get whats called a LIGHT version of the DLCs with low res textures and as someone mentioned above you don't get the missions/campaigns that come with BAF or PMC unless you get the DLCs

They both give better textures than the light version which comes with Operation Arrowhead. As far as I can remember all the content is in the light version but just with low res textures. Its maybe a little early for you to buy them yet. Play the game some and if you like it maybe spend a little extra and get the DLCs :) Myself I play lots of Arma2 Mods and Missions not just DayZ so getting the DLCs was worth it for me. If i only played DayZ I would probably not have bought them.

Actually, DayZ is a mod on Arma2. Arma2 is rated so therefore to play dayz you need to have been at the age rating.

Alzy you seem a nice person I was too harsh on you. My apologies. I hope they fix the ease with which anyone can DC or F4 or just server hop behind you. Problem I see is the only way they will ever fix this is if you cannot transfer client positional information when you swap servers added with a timer on DC and bleeding offline.

the scope is OP because of the thermals and because of the dupe bugs there are tents and vehicles all over the servers with them in.
