Yup, the phychology of dayz dictates that people who get killed over and over by hackers usually turn into hackers themselves much like how bandits are created. Theres nothing to do now, the devs are too concerned with people getting ammo refilled and duping. As for me i see the most promising mod getting broken and nearly unplayable between the outragous amount of hacks and the prism graphical eye rape. As if the long loading screens and deadly rocks werent enough =\ REDEEM YOURSELF DAYZ!

yaaa helicopters are a bitch to fly, but i bet its from a spawner, anyone who hoarded(server admin i presume) the huey would put it on a remote island or a roof no one could get to. The amount of hacks in the game is gettin a bit out of hand =\

The chats arent meant to be like some kind of radio its just different ways to physically talk to people (remember this is a zombie apocolypse and i dont see my guy talking into a walky talky) in different ways, and just like the inventory system, combat system and movement its very unfriendly to users

You also didnt have to worry about falling 2 feet and breaking a leg, or worry about hackers that are invisible, teleport, are godmoded, can spawn items, and unleash nukes that kill everyone without no real warning. You also didnt have to worry about zombies that can run very fast but never hit you if your running or prism graphical glitches that will rape your eyes. Alas, theres channals for different places to chat in it, WHY GOD WHYYYYYY

Im the guy you met on your first day who hauled your ass into a building, blood bagged ya and gave you a gun. But in my opinion PvP is the only way to have real fun, i help those on the south coast go inland and kill the rest.

It does matter, people probably shot you because you were trien to talk in group chat, people will ONLY hear you ingame while on foot if your using direct communication, nothing else

I agree, instead of dayz working on gettin ride of admin abuse and duping, and mags being refilled and combining ammo back and forth for full mags, they should focus on things that are completely breaking the fucking game. I can barely even play it anymore, between the prism graphical rape, outragous amount of hacking, long ass loading times, and mentally disabled players i dont think i can bear to play this game anymore.... Im sad to say it but i think this game is guna be dead before its released which is a shame because it was so promising.

Your fellow man? Or your inbred brain :) Group chat is for talking to people in the lobby, so if your stuck in waiting for character to create and other people are too... or your in the lobby after a server restart people will hear you. Otherwise only direct communication works ingame on foot.

lul, most the people who dont give a fuck about the controls or talkin to people correctly are just bandits anyways treatin the game like CoD, not that im hating on bandits but i dont think theyve ever had experience with arma and just bought the game for the mod let alone played any military sims.

the amount of hackers in this game is outragous, every single day i run across one or 10, either they teleport behind u to make them seem legit, or they just straight up kill u in some bs manner, most people havent seen one in 2+ months because they have a home server which might be free of hacks, but i have yet to find one. The game is already dying imo, between the prism rape, huge amount of hacks, abusive admins, fucked up loot spawns, and long ass loading times i just cant bear this game anymore... Which is sad because it was the most promising mod ive seen yet.

thing about new spawn characters is that u cant tell if theyre noobies or bandits, ive tried to help a guy with nothing out, he didnt say anything, went to the nearest barn got a hatchet and preceeded to run after me and my friend with a hatchet(we both had ghillies, m16s and an as50) kept on yelling at him not to be an idiot but he kept swinging like a wild man so we had to put him down... I cant even trust people who have nothing now :\

survivors are ballsy man, i tried to help one out once, he wouldnt talk to me he ran to the nearest barn grabbed a hatchet and preceeded to run after me and my buddy(we had ghillies on and assult rifles) swinging like a wild man, ended up having to put him down. Point of the story is that you cant tell new players apart from bandits.

Hello, ive seen many posts on these forums of people looking for groups to join because we all know how loonly chernaus can be. I currently have a 10 man group of people 16+ in age and we are looking for anyone who is mature, has a mic, and not a douche.
