    Ghosting was prevalent in the mod as well, its not giving feedback its abusing a mechanism in the game tbh!

    The time lag does not address the spawning in behind someone in a high value loot location though! You should spawn a radius away from it again, giving anyone in the loot area at least a chance to see you coming.

    Because thats exactly what people are doing to farm loot? Hows it a punishment, if you mean the 30 seconds to run back into the red area then you must live a fairly cushy life if thats a punishment? I've seen a few of us move in on a spawn area, case it out to make sure no one is there, move in to spawn and some muppet spawns in behind you and shoots you in the back. Some skill and cunning there allright.......
  5. The two things that suck at the moment are : 1. Constant DM as players now shoot first to save being shot. 2. Server hopping in high loot areas to loot churches etc. My thoughts on how we could remedy these along with players disconnecting under fire... IMO if you kill a player and your humanity goes down you should have something like bloodlust that means you aggo more zombies and from a further distance, the more murders the more you agro. So if you disconnect anywhere in a zombie pop area as soon as you rejoin beware...(Yes it wont fix discons in wilderness areas, and yes it could go wrong if your internet goes down etc, but there is no one silver bullet for this.) Also when you first log into a server the first 10 mins you should also aggro more zombies on a larger radius, ie hop from server to server in towns and you'll have the whole place down on you. This would help remedy the constant server hopping to farm loot!

  7. NO Will remove some of the near heart attacks from close up play, will be used for scanning in a way!
  8. Guys has anyone played this at a lan yet? My clan lan is coming up in the next few weeks at my gaff. I have a fairly decent connection, 40mb down and 10mb up, will there be any problems with 10 to 12 playing at the same time on my connection? Ideally we would host a server locally but that wont be possible, which is a real pity. This is the first lan in years that will be dominated by one game. There is simply no discussion about playing anything else, amazing!!! Hence my fears about there being issues. Maybe Rocket or another dev/admin can advise?

    Fantastic to see Rocket at work. For too long we have suffered the whine and cheese we see around every game, and dev's who just give in to the crowd. And three cheers for BattleEye as well. My hat is truly off. My clan is lanning in a few weekends. I would like to invite Rocket to attend as a guest of honour ( I know he will be too busy though ), so we will have a drink on you !!!
  10. Think this needs attention, may have already been mentioned. All major towns, cities and features should have a system where by if you log out in that area you should be randomly moved to an area outside. Was at Airfield last night and was killed by a sniper spawning back into the tower. Lame I know, really needs a fix of sorts.

    Some ideas that would make the game even more awesome!!! 1. As a player dies he attracts zombies, meaning in cities the PVP DM aspect gets even harder. Also as a result of this the zombies are faster and deadlier due to the food. This could force the PVP into new areas, and thus move them on again etc. 2. If you murder another player theres a chance they could change to a zombie as you loot them, again they would be strong and fast, meaning looting could be dangerous.... 3. Allow dead bodies to be posed, ie so they look like live players, meaning you could use them to lure other players to their deaths. 4. Clan or group skins, though only something minor. Nothing like the excitment on TS we have had trying to work out who is who during a tense stand off or firefight. And a big thanks from The Irish Guard gaming clan, you have given us faith in gaming again. I uninstalled BF3 the day after I tried this mod. The best gaming experience I've had since BF42. A clan mate has described it as "Orienteering on crack!!!!".

    Can I start by saying that I'm loving the mod, the most exciting game I've played in years. The night and day change is great, however its having a negative effect in that players from different time zones who enjoy the day time playing, most players at a guess, are having to play on servers with big pings which really affects how the game plays. What would work better would be a less dark night, or a shorter night. Maybe even have different sorts of servers, some with full day night changes, and others with a shorter night. Whats going to happen in the Winter? Night for most of the time?
