    you could try running the game in Buldozer mode once. to do this go to the parameters tab/ all parameters in the official launcher, check it and click 'Play'. exit the game directly when it has loaded up the main menu, uncheck Buldozer and run as usual afterwards.
  3. the minor but nonetheless very annoying bug that items won't be returned to their previous slots when swapped but placed to the slot where the swapped item belonged, is back in. pls fix...

    I find more weapons that have suppressors already attached than solo suppressors...except the pistol suppressors, they're relatively abundant.

    I can confirm this...playing on a low pop server, log in two days later and there's still the exactly same loot around.

    I also noticed that the loot table is somewhat screwed: it's a wild mix of all tiers in many locations that doesn't make sense.

    ^this running pretty flawless on official but there seem to be some latency/ ping/ desync issues on community servers.

  15. +1 it was better in 1.07 but the ADS delay is back heavy again in 1.08. the delay is only noticeable though if you oneclick rmb for ADS. if you're already 'holding' your weapon with rmb and then switch to ADS the transition is instantaneous.

    yeah, it can be tough when you spawn in at night without appropriate clothing. always seek shelter in houses when your temp goes light blue and try to get a fire going. don't let your temp go dark blue and eventually you'll find better clothing.

    "Despite being a jacketed round, because it's smaller, lighter, and faster than an AK-47 projectile, the 5.56mm tends to yaw faster once it hits tissue. The shearing forces on the bullet once it is traveling at 90 degrees through the tissue often tears the bullet into pieces, thus creating multiple smaller projectiles and increasing the chances of all of the bullet parts remaining in the target, and hence dissipating more energy. The AK-47 round, being slightly heavier and slower than the M4 round, has a tendency to remain intact as it strikes tissue, and while it will penetrate deeper, it tends to remain intact and not yaw until it has penetrated much deeper than the M4." (or just leaves a 7.62mm exit hole). in game the dealt damage of both rounds should be the same but the guns differ in handling, accuracy, firing range etc.

    I agree that this miscalculation would have required a hotfix. I stopped playing Experimental since the 'fixing' of the weight because my two fully geared chars are useless now.

    good to know that the problem is at least acknowledged, I had the impression there was a lack of communication regarding this issue. and maybe it's an issue in general but I've never seen such an amount of hackers in Dayz like since the beginning of the year (the free weekend during the holidays to be exact). there's also a new quality to the boldness the cheaters are doing their business, the situation reminds of the proverb "when the cat is away, the mice will play".

    @xxDominion I guess you need lots of idealism or ignorance to still play on official . (or a ton of plugins :P)
