good to know... after putting the AWS in my backpack and joining server with SVD Camo equipped I was able to switch weapons and use the AWS again without getting script errors... so far only on Bier AIG server, hope it works on other servers, too :P

I´m in no way butt-hurt over the thermals getting dropped if that´s the game rules, but I am butt-hurt by the fact I can´t get on any server with it and thus don´t have the possibility to get rid of it. edit: I have a legit Hero skin also

well, like I said I get kicked everytime I join a server because of script restriction #41 which I think is directly related to the AWS update: I could finally join a server (Bier AG which is apparently well handled by the admins) but couldn´t equip the L85, when I tried to it switched automatically to handgun and I was unable to move. put it in my backpack for now and will try to join other servers...

so players who had a L85A2 AWS previous to this patch are supposed to drop it or what? how can I drop it if I get kicked (script restriction #41) as soon as I join a server :huh: no smart move to punish/exclude long time fully geared up players >:(

WTH, I can´t login with my regular character on official servers anymore. I always get kicked because of script restriction #41...is this because I have a L85 AWS or what?! I tried different servers, all the same :( Does anyone know what that script restriction #41 is related to? plz fix this

I can confirm this, more a matter of guessing and good luck to kill someone, it´s because of that damn twisted left ankle... plz fix warm clothes asap :)

i recommend the R.A.T. 5 or 7, there´s some usefull extra buttons and scrollweel (i use it for zero +/- ) on it, every button works :P and it´s freely configurable

it´s called 'floating zone' under mouseoptions

yes you can...same goes for trees of course, just crouch and stay still or move around the bush/tree slowly (walking or even better short tapping 'W') and remember: the bigger the bush/tree, the better ;)

same happened to me: saw bullets hitting the ground around me but no combat mode...

I recommend eu 911 (spear) or 3509, I think both have additional security (e.g. Gotcha Anti Hack)

are you sure you didn´t maybe join a private hive server by mistake?

I find it comfortable to have several characters in use: one for public servers and two more on different private hives so you can switch as you like depending on time zone or player amount e.g. I´ve seen no big difference between public and private lately; you can run into hackers on both but the situation isn´t as bad anymore as it was a month or two ago rule of thumb: join low to medium populated servers and you´ll probably have no hacker contacts at all :P

well, it´s a server-side setting, at least all OLUT servers (EU) have it :)

some servers have enabled that you loose all your gear if using non dayz equipment, though

apparently every f...n single tent was wiped from my favourite (public) server; was there a hive reset or can an admin do this on his own? ah, well...back to zero <_<

I checked after three server restarts, they never came back yet
