each player only has 1 tho and servers that have had vehicles transferred from can spawn more. servers with too many remove unclaimed ones so a most there will be more vehicles on a server if their are more players there(1 extra per player) unclaimed ones being removed

zombies to me aren't scary they are just an annoying inconvenience....... they should not be able to walk through walls and structures like they do, should be able to attack you when they catch you without stopping first and falling behind pace, should be able to run indoors, should be more of them and should be able to bite you for more damage, and also (this one enrages me somewhat) ZOMBIES SHOULD BE TOO STUPID TO ZIGZAG YOU CROSSHAIR AVOIDING BULLETS! they should be easy to take down if you get a headshot, but difficulty balanced within all the other aspects to make them more dangerous. at the moment they are just bugged out soldiers with only a melee attack that are textured to look like zombies and make horrible noises

nobody has officially paid for dayz mod, i wish people would understand that we bought arma 2 and got arma 2 we also choose to download a free mod for that game, we got our moneys worth already by getting arma 2 I wouldn't be disheartened if standalone was pushed to next year Dont rush it!, also anyone have any idea how much the standalone will cost or when it will be announced? .

Is it meant to be Hardcore PVP? or are players just being dicks all the time? i thought it was just coop zombie survival if this is the case why is pvp even enabled? or is it this... "your not allowed to have private servers join the public ones so all the pros can troll and take your stuff and call you noob" i mean come on is this a zombie survival or just another pvp troll game?

if zombies are harder people will shoot less that doesnt mean it will kill pvp elements but only add more of challenge to it, maybe he just wants another game where he can kill and troll players easily if so maybe he should "go play COD"

i know server hopping is a problem right now but your saying you want to eliminate people teaming up with people they trust, i agree with people teaming up in groups to progress better, what your saying is (using the server hopping as an excuse) thin out or kill the team co-op up elements and make more lone wolfs that are easier to "PVP kill/troll" the idea sucks, there needs to be another way to tackle server hoppers.

that's nice of him/them to do this i bought arma II for dayz but don't expect that to get me another full game because i already paid for arma II i will buy dayz full game if i know that the problems that we currently face have been resolved and its bug free, a discount is a nice treat for testing it in alpha and supporting the community.

I had a similar experience today, I got the truck from the quarry at solnichniy, got 5 wheels on it and tanked up and got it moving drove it round a pond hit a tree by accident, engine was f***ed to start with so boom, broken bones, no morphine, being a dumbass bandaged up prolonging my death so i had to crawl to Kamyshovo from krutoy cap just to die so i can play again.

what I find weird is you "make camp-fire" when clicking on the matches not the wood, does this also mean that if there's a camp-fire already placed an not yet used then you can effectively light the fire without matches or must the matches still be in your inventory in order to actually light it when its placed?

when i first started playing this i raged and was like "this is so unfair, players are dicks" but how my outlook has changed, the fact that you have to look out for players is what gives dayz its edge so i have to agree with you, zombies n my opinion are more of a tedious annoyance than an actual threat, things i dont like... 2 well armed players shoot me in electro when im fresh off the coast with nothing not that i care much since i have nothing to lose, but hunting players just for fun is pointless and lame, and is typical of immature trolls who do it because they think youll cry and rage, if im well armed and i get killed then fair game, NO to PVE, DONT NERF PVP

Another interesting thing ive noticed today hackers teleporting to specific players offering them stuff, which is bad because it unbalances gameplay obviously, but one guy in particular blood bagged me then offered me free gear and vehicles i said "naa im gd but im catching up with my bro who has a bus" he then said "ill catch up with you later see if you change your mind" then he disappeard into thin air, he didnt disconnect i checked the player list he was still ingame. i was kinda nervous at first cos he was gear up ghille suit, sniper but i was well armed too so i decided to stay at side of him or behind, and hear him out rather than nail him on sight. but i guess he didnt need to shoot me for my gear since he can hax anything he likes :P.

i just left that server after being screwed over by a hacker was launching everyone in the air then killing them with fall damage and bear trap,I lost alice pack food meds mp5 everything.. not happy -_-, on my new life i caught up with a guy called "toby" he said friendly so i reliped friendly, i followed him, he had a decent silenced rifle and ghilles suit on, next thing, tons of cows parachuted from the sky and he shot them all, then spawned an atv.. exploded it killing himself, so i looted him (justice partly done :/), then he caught up with me and attracted like 20 zombs so i ran away and quit the server to avoid being hacked any futher if you were on this server and have evidence screenshots etc please post on this thread.. proof is needed and i didnt have screen capture software running.

anywhere i can find a list how how much stuff i can put in each type of vehicle EDIT: nvm i found it on the wiki.

i think a hatchet is better for like zombies climbing stairs hatchets can miss and leave you bleeding from a hit in some situations, the slightly rarer good quality guns silenced with red dot etc are quite the luxury, typically quiet, have decent sights, accurate and powerful, instead of distracting or creeping past zombies you can pick em off from a distance clearing a route to where you wanna go, which you can't do with the shittier rifles like lee Enfield, it bangs like a firework and you don't get as much range, good for quickly taking down zombies in a bad situation, its 1 hit kill, but you better run and be able to get clear of a bigger incoming horde, shooting is safer with better quality guns.

live every moment as tho its your your last, its about the immersion, everyone has a natrual instinct to survive and the more you feel that you are living it out the more that instinct will make the right choices to survive but with that comes a greater sense of fear, fear poisons your survival instincts and will drag you down, Dont be fearful!,Be smart!.

lol yeah its tough for everyone no matter how good you think you are, expect to die at any moment since the image in my last post i rejoined the same server my bus was gone so i trekked across the north section of the map for about an half an hour to the camp where i first found the bus since i knew there was more vehicles there, area was clear lloted some jerry cans and a ghille suit got on a motor cycle and headed out again on my way back encountered a guy driving some shitty car, he got out as i tried to wizz past him but he managed to shoot me to bleeding i have no clue how he managed to keep up and shoot at the same time but he did and headshotted me while i was bandaging some 3 miles away from first encounter within 5 seconds im abit sceptical about my death this time it was as tho he was chasing me and drive by shooting which isnt possible in dayz he would have had to have some sick long range weapon and be an epic marks man with the distance i got and how quick he got me, but yeah thats dayz for ya and i guess he desperatly wanted that motorcycle back
