True dat. Not all bushes are real bushes, and from proper "combat excersises" involving one guy in a Ghillie going from position to position and trying to spot him, it's really hard to tell him from a bush.

As for my beginning stories, nothing really eventful, either than finding my first motherload of gear. Most of my deaths were caused by being teleported in X location and being shot at. Died once due to lag (I was climbing a ladder down.. then I got teleported back to the top, and me pressing S.. fell). Never died to zeds or carelessness.. been alive now for 5 weeks. Not dropping my guard and falling into some relaxed play state, as my recent dances with death (after a long time) has heightened my senses again.

So me and my clan mates just found a megaload of stuff (as you can tell from my current load out, scripted-in items), well guess what, it was a trap. Our spotter guy (aka. guy who stays back to watch out for people while raiding a camp) noticed someone running towards my location, and not just any slow jog we see everyday, this guy was the faging flash (if I remember right, his username was SAMSUNG, he keeps changing names though, but it's always caps). So I ordered for a tactical retreat, but for every meter we cover, he would cover say.. 200m and spraying at whatever his last location was. Eventually we made it to Elektro and holed up in the fire house and brought out our packed sniper rifles (except for me, since well, I started rolling with one as my primary). A hour long, long-range shoot out happened. AS50s, M107s, the hole shebang of sniper rifles, laser gun sounds echoed through out Elektro. He wouldn't just keep still, as in in less than 10 minutes, he took up so many different 400-600m range from us positions. Eventually, we were able to get a lucky round onto him, and bam dead.

Found an M60 and this L110A1. Gave the M60 our "heavy weapons" guy and swapped out my old M24 for that. That damn server is crawling with cheats nowadays.

This is a week old story: Broke this guy's legs, stole the beans he had that we didn't need (I threw the beans after), then shot him in the head with my M9SD. He RQ'd after. Must be one of those players who joined due to all the hype, only to be extinguished by someone who broke his legs, bandaged him up, stole from him while he was conscious and shot him.

I kill people for stuff I don't need, but if I'm in a kind mood, I'll drive you all the way from Cherno to Elektro to Berezino and back. I'll also give you food and drinks.

The longest load time I ever had was 5 minutes, to a server in EU (I live in the Philippines, South East Asia), my net being [DL speed] being at 140 Kbps and my computer being a 3 year old Crysis 1 spec'd computer. 5. I hated my first hour as much as the person next to me, but you get used to how the game works and become a millionaire (in terms of gear). Just don't get attached (I've been alive for 8 days now, last death being from teleported to a field with the rest of the server and killed). 6. Patience is a virtue. You think I got all this gear like "BAM", no. I took me 9 hours to get all of this, and another to get it all back again (after death by hacker). Not to mention how many zeds I had to ninja myself by. @random: It took me 4 hours to meet with my group and an additional 2 hours to get to the camp when I started. @random: I love it when people alert every zombie in a town/city and try to run out of the city. Do expect two guys in Ghillies with AS50s pointing at you and not the horde once you get out (especially Elek).

It's because people are playing it like the every other shooter. Try running a cab service from Cherno to Elektro and back.
