  1. I highly doubt that two FAL mags are wroth a high-tier weapon or a ghillie suit. Perhaps the two FAL mags with a FAL.
  2. The battle of morals. The only hackers I've ever encountered were hostile ones.
  3. 50 scrap metals. 20 wheels. 3 engine blocks. I also have an interesting idea if they want to put BMPs in. If you find one and are able to repair it, it doesn't have ammo (or if it does, only some LMG rounds). You have to find the shells for the auto-loader and shit.
  4. As what smash said, real proper physics. As what Wargunner said, more ambient noises to help immersion (if you sit in one spot for 15 minutes, you'll notice how all those chirping birds, branches rustling sounds are looped, and not just one or twice, a damn lot of times) To add to that though, i want to see more variety in the zombies, not just the same "dumb" one. Perhaps one (say an undead soldier) holding a gun and can fire it (of course it fires in arcs though, with the said thing lacking proper aiming skills). Certain zombies that could see you in the dark. A bullet sponge zombie. Zombie birds (spawns anywhere and attacks in huge flocks). etc.

    Hero Suit

I have a hero suit, and I mostly play as a bandit, bit I do help those who are in need and kill those who don't need.
  6. I can tell that you bought ArmA 2 for DayZ.
  7. Are you telling me that the likes of Thunderdome and Mortal Kombat are back? Oh shit.
  8. I know the destroyer thing.. but they can now script in the Khe Sahn into the game.. They'll probably start scripting in Cherno's International Hotels next I guess.
  9. That sounds more like a personal opinion.
  10. /Pssst.. He's probably spawning those said vehicles himself.
  11. On top of the fact you can die trying to access it. True story.
  12. No, seriously, links on that thing about finding and using a scripted in gun, because if it is true, I'll log-in right now and drop my L11. Last time I checked it was okay to use if you found it.
  13. There is no real incentive for being a full time bandit. All you get is a skin, and it doesn't have any special perks or whatnot like the hero skin (you run faster, you are bullet proof from certain calibers of rounds, etc.)
  14. Yes yes. Very nice. Now you see that very often if you play the regular ArmA 2.
  15. I'll give you a FN FAL AN/PVS-4 for that AKM.

    DayZ Stories

My first story involves a hacker. So me and my clan mates just found a megaload of stuff (as you can tell from my current load out, scripted-in items), well guess what, it was a trap. Our spotter guy (aka. guy who stays back to watch out for people while raiding a camp) noticed someone running towards my location, and not just any slow jog we see everyday, this guy was the faging flash (if I remember right, his username was SAMSUNG, he keeps changing names though, but it's always caps). So I ordered for a tactical retreat, but for every meter we cover, he would cover say.. 200m and spraying at whatever his last location was. Eventually we made it to Elektro and holed up in the fire house and brought out our packed sniper rifles (except for me, since well, I started rolling with one as my primary). A hour long, long-range shoot out happened. AS50s, M107s, the hole shebang of sniper rifles, laser gun sounds echoed through out Elektro. He wouldn't just keep still, as in in less than 10 minutes, he took up so many different 400-600m range from us positions. Eventually, we were able to get a lucky round onto him, and bam dead. Now this second involves a hot helicopter evac. 3 guys from C squad went on their normal scavenge rounds, and were ambushed in Cherno. I received a text from my counterpart from C asking for helicopter evac, so I sent a text to my squad's chopper pilot and one of the other guys (each squad has their own individual vehicle, for example, A has the chopper, B has vehicles, C is foot). I (taking the crew chief position), my pilot and the gunner, lifted from our base, and after a quick check of GPS coordinates, proceeded to the fight. Once we arrived in Cherno, we were able to draw fire from the enemy by coming in fast and low (and of course with guns blazing), after a couple of passes and assuming that they probably fled due to the presence of air support, we landed at the marked red smoke EZ, but the moment we touched down, they started firing again, but thanks to this being a game and the fact you can load people onto a vehicle fast, we were able to do a quick exit, although it sorta cost our chopper (A ton of near red-statuses, except for oil). I know my clanmate was able to record it, dunno what he's doing with the vid though.
  17. Perhaps you should stop running scripts?
  18. I used to roll with a M24, but switching it out for a L11 that me and my squad found in a hacker's tent city, I've never fired my gun in 90% of all encounters with other players, and the only time I do is during counter-sniping ops, but even then, I rarely land the killing shot (all of my squad mates have an AS50 or M107 in their backpacks). My first goal in the game was to find either the M107 laser gun (as I used to call it) or the AS50, but when I realized how much of a common "very rare" gun both were, I decided to switch to the M24 (and I still keep it in my backpack even though I already have a new favorite sniper rifle).
