You mean the super sensative zombie will have better senses than the zombies that can see through walls and hit you through them? :P

I have found that smoke sometimes gets them off you. Maybe the zombies didn't see the grenade because you threw it pass them.

I play on servers that give me a low ping and usually play early evening which would be both daytime and peak time. The joining times have improved but I still think hour long respawns are a terrible idea. I only play for around an hour or so at a time. If I am accomplishing anything in the minds of those who sit for several hours and play is irrelevant. The idea of hour long respawns is a surefire way to reduce the player base. How anyone can think it is a good idea is beyond me. People don't need an hour to sit there and think about how they just got sniped or beaten to death by zombies. I doubt anyone would even spend their leisure time sitting and contemplating it, instead they'll go play something else and since they won't need to wait hours to enjoy that other game they will give it preference.

This is a much better idea than staring at a black screen for ten minutes. The black screen idea is right up there with "30 minute respawn time" in terms of terrible ideas for me.

I like the friend with animation idea. I would also suggest that "bandits/outlaws" have a "stench of evil" that attracts Zed's like sounds attract them. It shouldn't instantly aggro them but will make them more inclined to the area where a bandit is. For a group of bandits the effect should be accumalative making bandit teams walking buffets for the undead. I'm not sure how this would work with Survivours shooting in self-defence. Also Zeds should prioritise attacking those with low humanity, this may detur the bandit from firing further making self-defence less of an issue. On the flip-side this change may be over-powered and high humanity survivours would abuse it by firing to attract zeds and then letting them do the dirty work of killing.

30 minutes to respawn is a terrible idea. It takes plenty of time to find a server with space and actually get into the game already without it being made an actual "feature". Not everyone has enormous amounts of time to play a game, for most people waiting 30 minutes to just respawn after someone sniped you from out of no where would simply mean they go and play something else and possible not bother returning for the "wait-a-thon" that this 30 minutes feature would make the game.

Safe zone for new players across all servers

Would it not be possible fo a group of bandits or the like to enter the unguarded safehouse on one server and then spawn on the server that you are on inside the building. That is to say they could suddenly ninja there way inside and while we are looking out of the windows for them approaching we get one in the back of the head? -
Does this patch reset your location to the coast? Also does having a tent benefit in anyway in terms of temp? /noob questions

I had broken legs, crawled into the firestation at one of the cities (not sure which). I was already low on blood. I tried crawling up the stairs. This made me bleed more as my legs clipped with the door and reduced my blood further. I crawl away after passing out plenty of times and staying alive by the little blood eating gives you. I get to a small building with a cabinet that opens. I open the cabinet hoping for morphine. I can't really move due to my legs being broken. The door of the cabinet clips me some how and I die from blood loss when it restarts my bleeding. I'm not sure this counts as funny but it is dumb to die like that :D

I am not sure if this is intentional but if you are low blood and you log off and come back the next day your blood is fully replenished. Is there a way to use the blood bags without a second person? I don't trust anyone to give me a transfusion and if you are in need of a transfusion you aren't really in a good state to fight back if they decide to simply kill you and take the stuff you are offering to "trade" them for help.

The increased number of zeds is good. Limiting them around smaller buildings is something I would welcome and the spawn rate needs to go down a little in smaller towns and villiages. It is currently possible to deal with the first wave and not escape before they begin respawning again. -

My first encounter with outright bandits was last night. I had the "waiting on server" thing for quiet a while so went off to get a drink and missed my spawn. So I had no clue where I was. It was also pitch black out. Eventually I get to a small villiage (no idea which), it is lit up with flares and there's plenty of shooting and zombies running around. I skirted around in the darkness to remain unseen and I witness a bandit running after a survivour and eventually gunning him down. I out flank the bandit and sneak right up on him. There were no cross-hairs and I only had the starting gun. I scope in and put two in the bandits head. I figure its justice. Then another bandit peeps out from behind the house and shoots me. I started bleeding but ran and bandaged to buy time. I then double-backed as the bandit would probably head me off in the way he saw me run. I managed to get back into the darkness and watch as the bandit circles the house in the light of the flares trying to find me. I then stupidly chance shooting him from a distance with the pistol. Next thing I know 4 or more zombies are kicking me to death. I was already injured so that was the end of me. Was fun though.
