Hi everyone, my name is Sam and I am a seasoned DayZ/ArmA2 player. I'm interested in making a guide to not necessarily learn the controls of the game (like many guides) but, the mechanics of a lot of parts in the actual game. How to loot, loot routes, navigate, AI, how to act when under fire and pvp hotspots? Not sure what you all reckon, but let me know!

I can definately include vehicles, choppers (piloting and spawns), how to: mildots.

So if you had a party of 6 and could dress them in any items what would they be and why? Also post what "roles" would you provide each player. Here is my format: Role: Primary Weapon: Secondary Weapon (IF ANY): Side arm: Clothing (Ghille, Camo, Civillian): NVG (Yes/No): Rangefinders or Binoculars: Pack: Why? This is purely out of interest, don't care if no one posts here, it's only out of curiosity :D

Scumbag Sams tale of Tikz and the KARMA. So Meshuggah, GHOSTED and myself were on the northern outskirts of Cherno in a fully dark server looking for some medical loot at the hospital. Making sure to camp out the area first just to be clear of players. GHOSTED has his DMR and NVG checking out all the spots in Cherno for players. We wait patiently as he does this. All of a sudden the word "player" goes down my spine. GHOSTED is an amazing marksman so we put this guy down on the toast list. We observed the player "Tikz" for a couple of minutes rummaging around apartments not hesitating to shoot stuff with his revolver. From our point of view we see a player at major disadvantage to our firepower of 2 DMR's and an m16, when he only has a revolver. So Meshuggah and myself run down to the closest treeline to the apartments and watch him walk into the closest apartment to "zig-zag" stairs. As he pops his head out for a look Meshuggah has a shot, miss, a rarity for him. Tikz all of a sudden becomes extremely aggressive and loops around behind the hospital as I fire at him. Hitting him? I'm not sure. As he abuses us and gets extremely mad, he pops around from behind the hospital side apartment and smokes me, I didn't even see it coming. 2 seconds after that Meshuggah was also dead. Underestimation at its finest. Then we hear GHOSTED say "Tikz is down" once again saving our stupid asses. We underestimated you Tikz, and after you killed us we were genuinely happy in a way that you taught us not to be so cocky, even with decent gear. Well played my friend.

Let me know what you have for trade, keeping in mind I already have; - Rangefinders - NVG - Coyote Backpack - m107 Would trade for DMR with ammo or any other snipers that can be used in conjuction with NVG.

Yeah I didn't know about any other considering I haven't had them with NVG or have been using in a day time server. Thankyou for clearing that up actually.

If it was a military FLESHlight so I could enjoy myself during those testing DayZ times then yes. Snipers get lonely :,(

Okay, I have only one problem here, I can't carry 3 guns, SO, when I get home I'll skype and we'll sort something out :D

Stockpile ammo and guns in your tents for "missions" eg, have sniping gear, and maybe some player hunting gear. Do the old Lee Enfield NVG combo at night in elecktro, guaranteed hours of fun.

Me and my friend both just got killed by someone facing in the opposite direction at the exact same time, has a silenced bizon yet we saw him shoot someone with it 500-600m away?

Oh well, didn't take long to get it all back, love rushing bad snipers with winchesters hahaha.

Not really, getting gear is the fun part, just wondering what happened to be honest haha.
