Being roomates and living in the same house not difficult to be in the same room...I was camping a helo crash site a bus belonging to the server admin clan started up the road....asked friend to come watch me unload on it...thus friend can see my screen. I killed the driver not even a second later im shot pointblank by someone in the head who "appeared" behind me there was a bit of confusion in the chat about the teleporter who was going around killing others as well which i was originally blamed as being him and banned. A few days later after talks with the admin I was cleared unbanned from the server. The admin even requested my CBL be removed on the CBL's comments list BUT because the CBL isn't maintained and hasn't been in forever Im still on it and have to go through the wonderful *insert sarcasm here* process of contacting every server admin of every server I want to play on to remove my ban from their list. If the CBL isn't going to be properly maintained it shouldn't be used

But playing a game with 4 friends one of which can see your computer screen and getting accused of teleporting in chat can get you added to the CBL.....the CBL is broken and hasn't been maintained in months

So the other day I am camping a helo crash site in a ghilie nearby Polana where I had my tent etc set up, and I take up a position a few hundred meters away from the crash site and wait to see if anyone will come by. After a good 3-7 mins of laying in this field. A bus comes rolling down the road, honking its horn, and begins running over zombies in the field around the crash site, I start taking shots at it with an AK kobra hitting the driver a few times, shortly after the driver dies I am shot point blank in the head by someone standing over me with an AS50. The driver turned out to be one of the admins of the server who I had previously mentioned I would kill with a hatchet if I had to, joking around in side chat. So me and the admin "was killed" messages come up almost immediately and the admin starts going on about someone teleporting to him. I say I just wanted the bus, because really thats all I was doing was shooting at a bus to kill the driver and take it. Somehow "I just wanted the bus" equates to me copping to teleporting in side chat. Ignoring the fact i have been laying in that very field since I logged onto the server. Anyways I had a pair of friends with me at the time this all happened who vouched for me to the admin, via 3055's twitter since at the time I believed this was only a server ban/issue. Anyways my ban was lifted and now I have discovered I am added to the community ban list http://code.google.c.../detail?id=3477 Despite the fact that the person who reported the ban asks that the report be disregarded, I was still added to the list anyway. Hence why I am here asking to be removed. I am unclesam obviously in the above link, and I would love to know how I bypass BE when all I did was follow the installation instructions to launch dayz with play with six/six launcher instead of loading it up through steam.

Can i get an update on this?

no...just no. If you want to play fetch quests for npcs or something there are already hundreds of other mmos for you to play. That and this whole adding quests etc nonsense goes completely against the anti-game idea dayz is based on.

ITT people who want to try and survive near the coast and are mad that it isnt possible im in a group of seven survivors now we're camping out around stary so that we can all get some decent weapons and ammo then we'll be heading east into the quieter regions of the map and establishing our own little enclave. Ive had similar events happen on several servers, the game is hardly this COD skyrim edition people keep qqing about.

That and most of these "elite" ambush/killing stories are coming from people playing on servers where you still have your hip fire crosshairs ffs.

You carry more supplies as a group, you have more firepower as a group, you have more people watching your back against bandits/roaming zombies. You have someone that can bandage/epi-pen/blood transfusion you if you get hurt by enemy players, zombies, or one of the arma engines wonderful bugs. In short you survive longer in a group than you do solo. There doesn't really need to be anymore incentive to work together than the ones there already are. These bandits don't get punished/reward team play by giving ____ bonuses to people who work in groups instead of killing eachother threads are getting really old.

barbed wire is really pointless anyway, it serves no purpose in game other than to be annoying, using it to cover your tent site really does nothing but increase the campsite location visibility, its easy to remove and it doesn't stop zombies

you live longer with a group of survivors than you do as a lone wolf bandit. Enjoy your trek back to battlefield or whatever horrible reincarnation of MW1 you bought for the 4th or 5th time now.

Oh snap, got ourselves and E-thug here. Watch out. Except for when they don't play on their private server exclusively and come to a public one with all the gear they got camping the spawns without having to worry about getting killed and then kill new people on the coast with their nvgs etc thus ruining other peoples game.

there are several clans/groups with discussion board etc off the dayz fourms where they openly discuss using password-ed servers in order to camp areas like NW airfield/Stary military camp etc until all members of the group have the gear they want. Just earlier today there were two threads one of /v/ and one on /vg/ of 4chan asking if any "bros" wanted to come on dayz password locked server and get some cool gear from NW airfield without having to worry about getting picked off. Its optimistic to think these groups are searching for bugs etc but unless the server has members of the dayz dev team on it I think its naive to make that assumption.

i like the new zombie numbers, it makes it so you're more inclined to cooperate be you bandit or survivor with others instead of just running around the map gunning down people randomly and going from town to town no problem whatsoever in getting new fresh supplies. The only issue I have with the new patch is possibly tweaking the zombie respawn timers. I've had several instances where i clear a 2 story building only to see more zombies spawned as i come down the stairs. At first i thought they had run in from outside but i did this later with friends posted outside to watch for other players/zeds and they did infact respawn downstairs where i just cleared not even a full 30seconds prior.
