Hey, * Server this happened on. FI3 * Time that it happened including your time zone. 13:09 (+2GMT) * What happened during the incident. I was looting a helo crash site when suddenly I heard a rustling sound (the one you make when you crouch-run on grass). Turned around, scanned the area and walked around the helo a couple of times. Went back to business as usual and soon after heard 2 DMR gunshots behind me, less than 10 meters away judging by the sound. Ran behind the chopper, peeked: not a single soul. Ran back to my ATV and got shot point blank. Coordinates were 085-083; there are no bushes nearby he could've hidden in. Sadly, no proof for the normal people. Devs / Server admin can always check the logs.

you should be happy you can play i have been waiting for 4 weeks due to this bug. and i still cant fucking play It's hardly playing if the server crashes every 5 minutes and all your gear / vehicles are gone...

FI3 crashed again, character got bummered again... Also, the gear you gave us doesn't have bandages.. My character is slowly bleeding out and there's nothing to stop it from happening now.

Keep fighting brother :) We've had to ban almost 30 guys just for alt-f4'ing in combat on FI3. Some people are just a sad bunch of people and are afraid to lose their makarov / winchester.

Found a chopper (1.7.1.1) with all the zombies around it, no zombie corpses anywhere nearby. Was checking the area with mousewheel for some time and didn't find anything. EDIT: Found another chopper at NWAF, no loot to be seen - no zombie corpses around.

There was a vehicle database revamp yesterday which cleared all the vehicles - it was properly announced and a lot of groups got to clean their vehicles in time before the reset. We've had disappearing tents bug us since day 1 but usually they come back after a server restart. Usually...

Does this mean we will have helicopters available this time around?

A bit of info: FI3 gets cluttered and the FPS drops for everyone after 3-4 hours of up time. If people abort/die near the 3 hour mark they get the good ol' 5fps cap. Hard restarting the server fixes the problem for everyone for another 3-4 hours. Something to do with the "debug zone" and player initialization?

I was looting a deer stand when I saw a guy walking out of the woods on the other side of the fields near Sobor. He walked crouch-ran to the middle which is when I think he saw the cow in the east. The poor guy closed in on the cow, took out his CZ and shot the cow 3 times. After killing the cow he proceeded to gut it and started to make out a fire in middle of the fields. I guess the poor guy didn't have any wood on him because in a moment he started heading towards the forest, and soon he came back to the cow. He succesfully put up a fire and cooked all the meat of that cow... This whole time I had been watching from the deer stand and aiming my DMR at him... The meat was delicious.

Popping in on the conversation: I'm one of the co-founders and server admins of FI3 (the [FAG] group server) and I'm a bit troubled at the moment... We're trying to create a community for finnish players while keeping open doors for anyone else who happens to join our server. The most common suggestion when we opened up the server was to limit the languages on the server global chats to finnish and english only. We take the time to warn anyone manually every time someone speaks some other language, yet we get a lot of flak for being racists and for hating the specific countries. I can see why people are complaining about the rule but the whole reason the rule even exists is to make it a better experience for everyone (the whole taking other people into consideration -thing). I just can't see why we are being accused of racism and hating specific countries. I don't have a beef with anyone, I love playing with people from other countries since their tactics and gamestyle differ so much from ours. By limiting the languages we're catering to the larger part of the community on our server by making the communication just a little bit easier, and a lot of players seem to like that. Every time we're taking a break from the server to have a nap, go to work or even eat we get a couple of complaints about the server going wild with people hammering the chat and voiceover being spammed by people with voice activation. We've had players threatening us with lawsuits, anthrax and killing but a couple of days ago we were told not to enforce such rules anymore. I've spent a good while reading this thread and learning about both sides of the story so I decided to add in my own. TL;DR: Imagine 40 players, one being a mic spammer, no admins around. Everyone asks the one guy to stop, he doesn't. The other 39 guys have to mute the person manually. It's not about racism, please keep that out of here.
