I have been enjoying the hell out of DayZ for about a month or so until the past 2 weeks. After every day, regardless of the server, regardless of the time, or update, whenever any server I am on is left for anywhere from 1-2 hours, everything (all my camps vehicles) all different areas of the map no matter what are completely gone and cleared. Now i'm assuming this is hopefully really bad server bugs because if hackers literally own this much of DayZ, i'd rather just quit. Can anyone post any healthy servers they know of that are playable and may infact save ANY type of server-related item ? If not, i'll just go ahead and wait until they patch it to allow the saving of anything.

There are so many thousands of game breaking bugs and glitches atm, the only thing I can tell you is be patient. This game is an alpha mod. And what that means is, only about 30 % of what is intended to work correctly does atm. If you are noticing that about 70% of the game is broken, its because it is. Try to enjoy what isnt ruined atm, which is : coastal city pvp. Thats about the only thing left

Hopefully that is the least of your problems. As far as I know until the next update, vehicles and bases get deleted by the server. I've had three different bases along with about 25-30 vehicles (across 5 servers) have been deleted or "cleared" the exact next day. Now either there is an entirely major problem with the save system for certain items, or hackers own so much of DayZ at this point its not worth playing until something is atleast slightly fixed. If you want to team up, sure. My squad is consistent of anywhere from 3-7 daily players. We group up into a small band of resistance to the undead wasteland and stand and fight ! We use Skype and its honestly very casual. Still in the building basics (have vehicles, camp) and looking to expand in 'useful' players who wish to learn, create, and inevitably destroy those who threaten our peace and way of lulz and scavengery.

Environments change your perspective on things quite a bit once you realize that you are playing with people that believe they are better off alone with one can of beans and a lee enfield then with a group of friendlies with fully automatic weapons and vehicles. Go figure.

Our squad is now usually five members with an extra pair of two every so often. We have been consistently raiding Stary Sobor and up and down the Northern and Southern middle of the map for various vehicle parts and small vehicles (UAZ, GAZ, Pickup). We seem to consistent with Marksmen (accurate AR) and snipers (AS50, M107) and are really only lacking at this point probably Heavy Weapons as well as Spec Ops (silenced) and Explosives Tech. It is important that you know of using DayZDB is one of our best strategies for survival and knowledge of the map.

I am always looking for new squad members. I am in the process of banding together a small but well armed squadron with the intention of gaining multiple vehicles (between 3-5) and then loading said vehicles up with scavenged defense barriers and traps and putting together a well made base on a healthy server (have been hopping frequently due to hackers) and could always use a couple good reliable people. We have flexible roles just based on what you prefer to use and where you prefer to be in terms of combat. I am very new to this game and am looking for anyone to play with. I'm 19 and a college student and while studying for my major I can say I have had to mature quite a bit to keep up with all of the things going on around me at the same time.
