item duping hasnt been around since 1.7.1 with enough time and work, finding three DMRs and ghillie suits is entirely possible, just as is finding and fixing up 8 vehicles. Its not duping, just teamwork between 10 guys and alot of fucking gametime Item duping is around in 1.7.1.5

Also Krasnostav Airport is the same deep red as the barracks? I rarely ever see anyone at the Aiport there because there are no rare weapons. I have yet to be at the barracks on any full server without killing anyone.

Playing on noob mode server? CHECK! Lying in the open to be shot because gras doesn't get drawn as far as they were when they were back in that industrial building? CHECK! Almost getting owned by a Lee Enfield because you can't aim worth sh1t? CHECK! The only worthwhile thing in that video was the grenade. And here you were lucky because they had a wall right behind them. Otherwise your nade would have been too far by a few good meters resulting in little to none damage.

So someone starts up a (free unsupported) mod for ArmA 2. A zombie maybe sees him while he drops down somewhere or hears him (the audible system is currently based on speed and underground not on audible sounds you hear). ZOMG SO SHITTY GAME LULZ ZOMG LULZ! NO PHAWT LEEWT! Then he climbs up somewhere and glitches through the metal handguards. ZOMG SO SHITTY GAME LULZ ZOMG CRAP PHYSICS!!! ZOMG And you really expect someone would not tell them to go look at freaking pieces of sh1t people sell for 60 dollars plus 15 plus 15 plus whatever which have tiny freaking maps and still as many bugs as ArmA 2? Seriously?

definitely anyone denying that is just a fanboy arma 2 has a lot of great gameplay ideas but the engine is pretty much a joke bug-wise my buddy and i attempted to play through the chernarus campaign and on any long mission our saves would always become corrupted and force us to start missions over endlessly' date=' which eventually just led to us becoming fed up and quitting it's a shame because it's really fun :/ [/quote'] Many of the bugs are related to no real physics. The leg breaking, killing doors, man eating rocks. Also the zombies would be much better modeled with their senses if we had actual physics. But luckily ArmA 3 will use PhysX 3. Savegames were never working really good. They are not even supported by dedicated servers. ArmA is still the best engine for what it is trying to do. If you do not like it play other MASSIVE SCALE 2x2km map games like BF3.

Wished behaviour: 1. It would be great if upon spawn you wouldn't be at your area in which you logged off at the first place but somewhere on an island. Now you cannot move but you have an menu in which you can decide which model/skin you want to have upon spawn. 2. Now you get moved to the position at which you saved or which you will spawn at in he first place with your new model Why all that? 1. Teams get recognizable. So its easier to spot who is your buddy and who isn't 2. Personal style. It bugs me that I look like everyone else. 3. Easier spotting of PvPers. People can tell you now how that guy x usually looks like or how the person that just shoots at him looks like.

What? I said that NVGs are rarer than rifles. What is so freaking unclear about it? Did I say "per soldier in afghanistan you do not find more rifles than NVGs"? No? I say you have no idea how expensive military grade NVGs are. The one the german army uses costs about 4000 Euros. The Rifle of a german soldier costs 1200 Euros. So your NOT SO EXPENSIVE NVG costs only as much as three rifles. And you really expect armies to buy as many of those highly situational devices as they have weapons for their soldiers which they can pew pew enemies with? So what we learned is that you have no clue what you are talking about.

Surely anyone willing to fight a zombie apocalypse with nothing but a spoon has balls of steel. Id also recommend you try and win people over by convincing them rather than insulting them. When is the last time you listened to anyone who insulted you? I WANT the thermal scope but youre just gonna make everyone want it gone if they think people like YOU are championing the cause. Thermal scopes need power. Make batteries a resource. More Realism and Thermal scopes become an investment. Its a win win and you get to keep your weapon. That said a high tech piece of machinery like that surviving a chopper crash are slim to none but the drop rate kinda accounts for this. Id say the thermal sight is fine. Survivors need to learn evasion. I never shoot on sight and im a self admitted carebear. If you DIDNT have awesome weapons it would make evading and following you MUCH easier and thus less fun. Its rare as hell as it is and ive rarely needed to evade a thermal scope. Also a lot of people want less powerfull weapons because nothing is scary down the barrel of a 50 cal. Amnesia the dark descent is creepy and atmospheric because you cant fight the monsters. Silent hill is scary and tense because your weapons are weak' date=' ammo is rare and your enemies are strong. People who want the PVE to be more exciting (because lets be honest its not) would do well to ask for less totally uber powerfull weapons. I dont agree with the above but its a fair point. [/quote'] No. These people are fucking idiots and I'm not a PR agent. I see the same pattern in all games these days. A pattern that is NEW to gaming. All this "lets nerf this, nerf that. nerf it all!" bullshit needs to end. The devs can't come out and tell these people off, so I will happily do so. It's fucking senseless. The map is 250kmx2 and one thermal gun is going to turn someone into god? As people have mentioned, it's only really good at medium range and it's on the weaker side. PLUS IS IT RARE AS FUCK! Not to mention, this is the NEW PLAYER forum.....WTF is this even doing here? Also championing "realism" reveals a lot about a person. As in, there is only so much you can have, and then you're just being an wishful idiot. Like how often does anyone actually use the in game map? Its not rare. Helicopter Crashsites are everywhere and nearly without risk at night with NVGs. And even without you can easily take it with 2 persons. Last time I played I found 3 choppers with: 1 AS50 2 BisonSD 2 FN FAL 1 LA85A2 CWS 1 Medical Box 1 pile of sh*t 1 M249 1 MK48 Ask me about the last time I found a DMR in a deer stand. And I check a lot of them
