Yeah, found camo clothing so far in residential. Finally. Nothing worse than the basic skin variations, yuck. This happened to me as well when I put mine on as I stashed my backpack just in case. I thought posting it would just make everybody dupe their backpack though....

The most i've found is four in a day before restart, two were already looted though as they were around Starry. They're honestly not that hard to find. There is ALWAYS one around Starry/Novy (ALWAYS looted unless server just reset), usually one around Gorka area too. NWAF has a high chance as well. There are a shitload of set possible spawn locations, but they will randomly spawn within 1000m of any one of the them.

I played basically the last 14 hours and have had absolutely no graphical glitches and frame rate has actually improved. Same with my group (of which 5 played today with no issues).

People posting the patch notes, that doesn't answer the question.

Most of ours were found or repairs at spawn with little issues, except our ATV which we originally saw driving around the NE airfield with two lads on it. We popped a few shots at them and they take off, but later we come to the supermarket in the town below and see the ATV sitting in front of it. My two mates come from above and see a chap hiding in the supermarket while I go in from behind the building. They fire at him a bunch of times and we assume he dies or alt+f4'd (no body). We must have got his mate earlier because he was nowhere to be found. ATV was out of fuel as he left the engine on so I head back to camp on my moterbike to grab jerry cans and we take off merrily into the sunset. Both our moterbikes were found, one at spawn and repaired the other sitting in a barn. Our UAZ was from spawn in Starry, and our boat we found on the coast north east of NE airfield.

The ONLY decent suggestion so far.

This is the first and only game ever that I have preferred third person over first person. The FOV in first person is so restrictive that the only way I find to get that "peripheral vision" is in third person.

Jesus christ, you people are idiots. The vehicles would be fucking useless if you lost them after not using them for a day. Some people log for a few days at a time, why should their hard work finding and repairing the vehicle go to waste because they're busy for a day or two? Shit, in that time someone else has probably found it anyway. Yesterday we found a motercycle at spawn up north. As there is actually little high value industrial outside of the 3 major cities, it took a few hours to find all the wheels, scrap metal, fuel tank and jerry cans to get it up and running and self sustaining. Most of which was me as my mate who ended up with it was watching it while I found all the parts. Are you saying neither of us deserve to have that motercycle for ourselves and not have it disappear when we log so some other wally can drive it around and get it blown up? Fuck you. Also, people are only upset because they're using online maps to try and farm vehicle spawns. You're just as bad as hoarders, fact.

That's what you get for playing on regular servers. Yuck. To the OP, there is a very good reason it was disabled. You know how everyone complained about waiting for character to create for about a million years? That was in part due to insane server load because half of the player base are constantly respawning at any given time.

If someone goes through the massive trouble of repairing a vehicle (sometimes several hours of running around finding parts), then they should be well within their rights to try and hide the vehicle so they can continue to enjoy the fruits of their labor; whether he has other vehicles or not.

Our group hadn't had any vehicles in our two months of playing until four days ago. Now we have a UAZ, ATV and two Motercycles. Once you find one you seem to run into more.

I didn't even consider the fact this gives alt+f4 cunts more of a chance to bail until just then.

Idiotic change the ARMA devs have made. The .45 sidearms are a higher caliber than most of the guns yet they're practically useless. Makes no sense. The only thing this has done is give snipers even more power and will make more geared players even more aggressive.

I find this to be the single worst thing to happen to the game to date. It's only going to push the obsession for military loot and the KoS strategy to even more extremes. Plus I actually don't find it realistic in any way shape or form.

I keep updating the beta after six launcher is open, then it works.

Yeah I had to direct connect to get into the server I usually play. My friend couldn't at all even with direct connection and another mate didn't have to use direct connection at all. All the servers I could see had 10-15 players in them instead of the usual 50 so I imagine it's pot luck atm.

Doesn't really matter if it's worth updating, you have to or you won't be able to join the servers using that version.

Haven't read the thread, but lowering gun damage is the single most terrible idea I've ever seen put forward on these forums.

Me and my group had been playing for over a month and had never had a vehicle until two days ago. Now we have 3. Like most other things in life, it seems once you find one you find more haha.

When you spawn any loot near you is deleted, if I'm not mistaken. Don't logout/in near loot spawns. Also if you approach a loot spawn and all the loot inside is old it will clear it and you'll have to leave the area for a while for it to cycle again, I think.

L85. Had everything else pretty much except the camo SDs but the L85 is what I want. Unfortunately only found NVGs twice as well.

I agree the nuking shit is totally fucked up. Today our server got killed which left 6 of our group frantically running north to find our bodies. Only three of us made it. Third time it's happened this week.

this is exactly how I see the servers. I refer to it as the multiverse. It doesn't help that I've been watching all seasons of Sliders lately.
